Whiskey Willies

This place isn't large but you don't feel claustrophobic. The bartender is very capable and efficient. The music was loud but didn't leave my ears ringing. I had a sandwich, which was delicious.

Most of the time this place has been pretty empty when I have been by.  It does seem to be picking up lately.  My last trip was on a saturday night.  We found seats with no problem but there were still enough people there to make the place interesting.  We never had any trouble getting a drink since this place has poached some of the best bartenders around.  Adam always remembers my name and my drink.  

The food is very good.  I had the pork sandwich with sweet apple slaw.  It was very tasty and came with a creative new take on the french fry.  It was one potato, spiral cut and deep fried and it was very tasty.  I will work on getting a picture up .  

My one critique is the noise level.  On Saturday night.  It was really loud.  If people were dancing I could understand but for most of my visit no one was dancing and the music was so loud I could not hear to talk.  If your customers are sitting around talking you should keep the music at that level.  When they start to dance bring the noise level up.  There were also some maintenance issues in the bathroom.

The place is on the small side with a long bar in the center, dance floor upfront along with a small DJ stage (they were playing mostly a mix of hip hop/rap genre type music while we were here), and several small (wobbly) bar style dining tables around the bar. This seemed to be a fairly busy spot on a Saturday night with some decent bar tenders (try there 'Jolly Rancher'!), the place does get a bit hot inside (we weren't even dancing), and the local crowd here seems to be mostly Caucasian people in there 20-30's.
