Most of the time this place has been pretty empty when I have been by. Â It does seem to be picking up lately. Â My last trip was on a saturday night. Â We found seats with no problem but there were still enough people there to make the place interesting. Â We never had any trouble getting a drink since this place has poached some of the best bartenders around. Â Adam always remembers my name and my drink. Â
The food is very good. Â I had the pork sandwich with sweet apple slaw. Â It was very tasty and came with a creative new take on the french fry. Â It was one potato, spiral cut and deep fried and it was very tasty. Â I will work on getting a picture up . Â
My one critique is the noise level. Â On Saturday night. Â It was really loud. Â If people were dancing I could understand but for most of my visit no one was dancing and the music was so loud I could not hear to talk. Â If your customers are sitting around talking you should keep the music at that level. Â When they start to dance bring the noise level up. Â There were also some maintenance issues in the bathroom.
The place is on the small side with a long bar in the center, dance floor upfront along with a small DJ stage (they were playing mostly a mix of hip hop/rap genre type music while we were here), and several small (wobbly) bar style dining tables around the bar. This seemed to be a fairly busy spot on a Saturday night with some decent bar tenders (try there 'Jolly Rancher'!), the place does get a bit hot inside (we weren't even dancing), and the local crowd here seems to be mostly Caucasian people in there 20-30's.
