I came here with my mom on a Monday night not expecting anything to rave about, but I can honestly say I would rave about this place all day! Great place to get a beer and eat some food. I came here before a couple years ago when they fits opened, it was nothing spectacular, but since then they changed the whole building and added another section onto the original building. They have a wide variety of foods ranging from seafood to pasta, to burgers, wings, and delectable finger foods. My mom got the Turkey Burger on a ciabatta roll with a side of sweet potato fries. I got the British Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. We both enjoyed our burgers and they were cooked to perfection. They have so many drink specials for everyday of the week and also a lot of beers on tap! They also have a lot of variety of micro brews which I want to try next time I go there for happy hour! Kudos on the customer service and I will be back again!
Review Source:We usually go to the one in Willow Grove, but we were in the area so stopped at this one. Â We sat at the bar and the service was very inattentive. Everytime we wanted something, we had to flag down the bartender to get his attention. And even then it was quite a wait until we got service. Â Food is as mediocre as at the other location. Â The spinach dip was quite oily, and the chips served with it were bordering on stale. We also got steamed clams, and quite a few of the shells were broken, which concerned us a bit. Â The only reason it got 2 stars is because like the other, they have great drink specials. Â That's the only reason to really visit here.
Review Source:For a chain, Miller's isn't too bad.
I hadn't been here in over a year after a truly HORRIBLE experience with my server and then the manager on duty. I ended up speaking with the owner the next day, who informed me that this particular manager had already put in his two weeks notice and clearly didn't care anymore. While this is certainly no excuse, I accepted his humble apology. However, I wasn't in a rush to return here.
The other night, a friend (who loves Miller's) suggested we go for dinner and a couple of drinks. The four of us went and it was packed. It was Saturday night at around 9 o'clock, so I have no issue with that. We waited about 10 minutes for a table, which was just fine.
I noticed that since the last time I was there, they have really come a long way with their craft beer selection. I always like to see that. Also, the prices weren't terrible, averaging around $5 each- pretty standard. Food prices were good too. I ordered the 35 shrimp, which is 35 fried shrimp with cole slaw and one side- for $9.95. Not bad at all! It also tasted pretty decent. My husband had the prime rib sandwich, which he said was very good, and the other two in our group had burgers, which also looked pretty good.
For the most part, this place is decent. Nothing amazing, but certainly not bad. For an affordable night out, this is a pretty good pick, especially if you're looking to stay in the Northeast.
