Okay place. Good fries (I'm easy to please). The décor...and smell...of the inside of the restaurant reminded me of a rundown Hooters though. I went with a few people from my office and they raved about the Miller's Ale House in St. Pete so I suppose it's their fault that my hopes were high.  Ordered the grilled mahi sandwich and I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either...I nothinged it. Just fish on a bun with lettuce and tomato...not exactly mindblowing.

If the office tide once again shifts in Miller's Ale House's favor I won't sit out, but I wouldn't come back with people I actually care about.

Food is great, but most of all they  had a magician perform magic there on Wednesdays and Fridays from 6-9 pm awesome entertainment. Great place to have a good time with the family and have your eyes amazed with magic.

Maybe it's because I worked at the Miller's Ale House in Orlando for 5 years or maybe it's because I love seafood and chicken wings but quite it's because the Ale House is just all around awesome.

Miller's Ale House on Dale Mabry is pretty far out of my way in Tampa so it's a treat when I get to eat there. It's nothing fancy but it's huge and the food is always good with killer prices.

I've eaten just about everything they have to offer and you can't go wrong with wings and beer but there are hidden gems are the pork medallions, Bahamian dolphin, and bistro steak salad. The huge nachos are killer and the zingers are an amazing take on boneless buffalo wings. Don't forget the Captain Jack's Buried Treasure for dessert!

If there were an Ale House closer, I'd be there every single week!

Miller's Ale House Restaurant is a popular chain of sports bars with really good food that you'll find sprinkled up and down the east coast of the US, and also around the Gulf region. The menu is more substantial than your typical wings, burgers, and nachos pub grub, as they also crank out some amazing appetizers, salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, seafood, and house specials.

This Ale House is located on North Dale Mabry, just below the intersection with Ehrlich Road. It sits on the end of the strip mall, and your view of the restaurant is partially blocked by a chain pizza joint.

First and foremost, the Ale House is a sports bar. You'll find TVs all over the walls and above the big bar in the center of the restaurant. Every conceivable sporting event (even the pay-per-view events) will be showing one one of their many screens, and the crowds gather to cheer on their favorite teams.

Next, and as the name suggests, they do a pretty darned good job with beer, wine, and liquor. They had about 30 types of beers & ales on tap, plus quite a bit more in bottles. Not as many of the fancier craft and specialty beers, but they have Magic Hat, Sea Dog, and Smithwick's on draught, to name a few. Plus they have a big selection of wines by the glass, along with a full liquor bar.

And finally there's the food... the menu is surprisingly diverse with all kinds of yummy delights for even the pickiest eater. They are known for their wings and their Zingers (which are their boneless wings), but you'll find the menu goes on and on with some terrific pasta, burgers, steaks, and seafood options. I'm a big fan of the Ossobuco (slow-cooked pork shank), and their prime rib dinner specials.

Ale House is a great place to meet up with your friends, knock back a few frosty cold beverages, and watch a game or two while enjoying the food.

Pacquiao was face down snoozing for almost 5 mins and I had to stop screaming and jumping up and down to make sure he got up...you dont wanna be celebrating and he dont get up lol so once he did I continued screaming. What a shocker!!!! Now we never will see pacquiao vs my man Floyd Money Mayweather pacquiao lost two straight. Good fight........

One of my favorite chain restaurants.  Maybe it is due to my love of the Zinger Melt, which started back in high school.  Zinger Melt:  Buffalo chicken tenders, topped with cheddar, and sour cream - all served with a side of blue cheese (healthiest. meal. ever.)

Seriously though..if you are looking for a good place to watch the game and pig out on junk food, just do it.  The wings are delicious, the cheese fries are so rich and good, and the chicken nachos can feed 4 people easily.  For dessert check out Cap'n Jack's Buried Treasure.. and don't forget to get some cheap pitchers of delicious Miller Lite!

I really wanted to give this place four stars, but then I went to the restroom before I left. Bummer.

Food was okay, service was okay. The young lady didn't really know much about her menu or beer selection. I thought the TVs were fine, but my friend thought they were out of focus/fuzzy. Maybe they were 720 and not 1080.

I do not recommend the Zingers in the Jamaican Jerk sauce. It smelled like a hockey skate drizzle with chocolate. I couldn't stomach a single bite by my friend powered it down somehow. The Shrimp Mac n Cheese exceeded my expectations, especially after that miserable Zinger sauce.

If I was a local, I'd frequent this bar. Fortunately, I'm not.

    Lunch June 5
LOVE the Apple Walnut Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast (asked for it blackened).  Was very surprised at how fresh and tasty this salad came out, with so many wonderful ingredients.  I know they had great wings, in particular their Honey Mustard flavor is my favorite, but the salad was very good, unexpectedly very good!

ZINGERS!!! Stop reading this review right now and head to Alehouse for zingers!  You're welcome.  Ok, welcome back.  Now I probably should have told you that zingers, which cost $8.99 already, don't come with fries.  What you'll want to do next time is pay the $10.99 for the Zinger Mountain Melt and actually spend less money.  The Zinger Mountain Melt is my go-to because it's fries, zingers, cheese, bacon and scallions with a side of ranch. ZOMG so good.  It's a perfect place to watch the UFC fights, or really any sport you are interested in.  The serves are always so friendly, the bar is well-stocked and there is pool, which is always fun.

I've been going here on and off since moving to Tampa 10 years ago. My 12 year old "J" got a large goose egg on his head from running, slipping and crashing headfirst into a booth when he was 4 or 5!  Anyway, it's not bad service and food, a decent place to take the kids. This is one of the places I will order wings as they do them close to real Buffalo style.

Oh how I miss the Ale House! Why oh why cant we have one in STL? $5 pitchers and Zinger Melt Fries! The prices are reasonable and service is always great. Since this is a sports bar you can always expect to have 101 televisions to watch your favorite game! Pool tables and a great bar-tender! Oh, and if you are a dessert person you should definitely try all of them! But be sure you have someone to share with!

This place is just not good. I'm not a fan of the fratboy crowd so that's part of it as well. The food is just horrid so don't even bother. I give it two stars because apparently the original owners of this franchise are from Philadelphia so I'll yeast the star quality here.

My visit to Ale House was a pleasant one. Most of my friends recommendations agreed with what yelpers on this page recommended, the Honey Mustard wings were fantastic...sweet and didn't need any kind of dip to be enjoyable. Regular prices are still reasonable with a few friends. What really sold me was the Captain Jack's Buried Treasure, has to be one of the best desserts I have tried...I want to try their variation with Nutter Butter cookies in the future and try out their drinks as well. I was really impressed with the food, I wasn't expected a pub to have such a good food.

I love everything about Miller's Ale House.  I've eaten at probably 15 of them and I always feel at home. A few things to recommend for the new patron:  First of all, you have to try Capt'n Jack's Buried Treasure.  It's quite literally the best desert I have ever had in my entire life.  Secondly, try the Zingers. They are boneless chicken wings...  I recommend having them mix the honey mustard and BBQ sauces. The combination is out of this world.  Finally, you will never beat their drink specials so don't even try.  In short, it rocks.

This is my favorite watering hole in Tampa.   The staff will greet you by name, know your drink, and keep your glass filled.   Highly recommend you check out the big screens, pool tables, and low drink prices!
