Pretty good take-out. Gen. Gao's chicken was good as was the pork fried rice. Chicken wings were just regular fried chicken wings...no distinct Chinese flavor. I only got a take-out lunch special...so it;s tough to judge this place 100%.
The floor was a little slippery....? Maybe a little more Pine Sol is needed in the bucket at night.
Best Chinese takeout in the Stafford/Willington area, we have ordered here probably 20 times. Â It's not really a sit down restaurant but there are tables in there. Â I've never seen anybody but an employee sitting at one. Â The price is certainly right. Â You get a lot for your money, but takeout choices are a bit limited compared to other Chinese places. Â But they have all the basics. Â Never had a bad meal. Â Egg rolls are not greasy either. Â I recommend the chicken teriyaki sticks, they are huge!
Review Source:I have a few different opinions on Ming Moon. Basically it comes down to when their food is good it is GOOD and when their food is bad it is BAD. I wish they were more consistent. For some reason I always find that food from here tastes better at lunch time. Better flavor and quality. Sometimes their dishes are too saucy and their crab rangoons have been soggy as if they were sitting for awhile. The crab rangoons are extremely tasty and crispy when fresh though. I have had really good vegetable lo mein and general tso's chicken before. All this said, Ming Moon is a much better choice than Good Food, the other Chinese take out joint in Stafford.
Review Source:Of the two Chinese food places in Stafford, Ming Moon is the better choice in my opinion. Â They're always fast and extremely friendly. Â They have an open kitchen so you can see the food being prepared right in front of you, so if you're a person who is skeptical about how your food is prepared then this place is for you. Â I highly recommend trying an order of their Crab Rangoon, one of the many gems on their menu.
Review Source:I've been here a few times (what can I say? Â My fridge is empty!) after initially avoiding it. Â I'm not a big fan of Chinese food usually, but then I discovered that they had sesame tofu and General Sau's (Gau's, whatever. Â It seems everyone calls it something different!) tofu.
Last time I ordered, I wanted something that wasn't exactly on the menu. Â To be honest, I thought it would be difficult for me to communicate what I wanted, but it was very easy! Â They made me orange tofu and were happy to do so, and also substituted my pork fried rice for veggie rice, and my egg roll for a veggie spring roll.
And it was ready in 10 minutes! :) Â All in all, they were very accommodating, nice, and the food was good.
