Not exactly sure how to "review" bars. By the time I'm back at a computer (i.e. not drinking anymore) I'm suspicious about my memory. Here's what I know: This bar is one of, like, two places in Cheyenne open and serving alcohol past midnight. Before we ended up there, my friends and I were thrown out of the Olive Garden (closed around 10:30) and Old Chicago (12:00), and the waitress at the latter recommended we walk across the street to Mingles. The place was busy-ish and definitely needed a second bartender; we waited in line for about twenty minutes for Jack & Coke. But the ambience isn't bad. We opted not to play pool at one of the dozen (or more?) tables and chatted instead on couches in front of a fireplace. For a place reputedly "townie" and frequented only by drunks, Mingles showed me a fine time. I'd go back. In fact I'll HAVE to go back if ever I step out past midnight in Cheyenne again...
