There a few words to really convey the experience here. It is part of the Parker Palm Springs, which is an SPG hotel otherwise known as Le Meridian. These hotels are usually high end and decadently appointed in mod and contemporary fashion. Well Mister Parkers is the same description but takes on an older 1970's glamour. The hotel's theme seems to be that of a psychedelic, hallucinatory, following Alice in Wonderland down the rabbit hole approach. The restaurant is similar. The staff is very good on the presentation. Very classy and professional waiters. They walk with one hand behind their backs like an upscale server would do. The food is expensive and the alcohol is as well. This place attracts the clientele at the hotel or the locals who are very high end and perhaps a little vain. It is a youthful crowd and there isn't a great bar so don't go alone. Take a date here ONLY if it is your 3rd or 4th date because the lighting is very dim and you'll likely end up sitting next to each other.
I went here for Mother's day and there weren't any noticeable mothers. Just people with money.
