We were just passing through and decided to try this place. A warning to others: SKIP IT. It was pretty empty when we got there around 6:30pm... usually rush time. That should have been a warning. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for two cheese burgers, both which were only okay, with a side of cold, chewy fries. How do you go wrong with fries?? My mother and I agreed that they were the worst burgers and fries that we had ever tasted. Her Pepsi was so watered down that she could barely taste it, and we were never checked on even once by our waitress. While we were eating outside, both waitresses came outside and stood right next to us while they took their smoke break. Gross and rude! BOTTOM LINE: TERRIBLE FOOD AND EVEN WORSE SERVICE. We will never stop by the Model T again. Do yourselves a favor and go to the burger and shake place across the street.
Review Source:Cute little bar. Â If you go here, I would suggest not ordering the hot wings. Â They weren't even slightly spicy, they were very fatty and some of them were cold near the bone. Â Not to mention you only get about 7 of them for 10 bucks. Â And I don't know if it's the food that did it to me or not, probably
Review Source:Another spot I had never tried in the area, so I gave it a go. They serve what I would consider to be pretty legit bar food. This is a "pub" so people under 21 can come in, as long as they don't enter through the "bar" door... Which I'm sure makes going here with family, a tad easier, though there is very limited seating inside (they also have an outside "beer garden" area, though I'm not sure if only adults can go out there, or kids too?).
For the value, this place is definitely a bit pricey for the frozen fried seafood, and only OK coleslaw. Still, service here is excellent, the people who run the joint are super nice. Don't let the exterior discourage you from stopping in, as I often see a lot of "bikes" parked out front, and this definitely doesn't look like a "family establishment" from the outside. Nonetheless, good food, good people, I'd go back again...
