Josh and his staff are the best. Craft beers on tap change weekly, the bartenders are friendly, and DHF 60 Min is always $4. Great spot to watch a game and as a weekly watering hole.

Found this place after having nothing much to do in the Lee, Mass area in winter.  I'm not an avid skiier so yeah, I drink.  This place was really eclectic with the decor and the beer tap selection was great too--about 8 different kinds.

I tried the hard cider and it was very cloudy, bartender informed it was bottom of the barrel and definitely looked like mud...but still tasted awesome!! It was like real mashed cider from a farm and I drank it anyway.  My girl had the honey mead which was a nice peachy color, slightly bubbly and just enough tart.  Atmosphere was friendly and few customers at 3pm on a Saturday.  Hue selection of bourbons to sip as well as some other choice libations.  No Coors here!!

I wasnt even charged for the two ciders, very generous!  This was also the ONLY place where I could find wifi during the whole trip hahah luckily I was able to check myself in, Hollaaa  !

Craft beer. Serious drinking libations. No frightening Smirnoff & OJ here. Big props for the hand bag hooks under the bar. Excellent tunes.
This certainly isn't your average local bar. A very, very impressive selection of craft beers.
    Eclectic group of patrons.
The interior  makes for comfortable consumption & required beer education. Full bar too so if your hankering for a good bourbon or sipping rum they offer that too.
    *Cash Only!!
    Cheers!

Love them! Josh the owner is so great and so friendly. I love the bar and I love the beer selection. We got pho to go from across the street and brought it back to have with beers. Many of the beers are from my California coast. The music is fun. I can't wait to go back next time I visit the other coast. Thank you! XOXO

Came here to unwind after getting stuck in the swamps in October Mountain State Forest.  Wow did it work.  The atmosphere is pretty low key. There is a huge beer selection to choose from. The bartender was pretty friendly and there were a few others in there just watching TV from the bar. There is no food, but you can bring your own.  Definitely worth a stop.

    Awesome selection, atmosphere, people!

Wonderful beers on draft, the owner is very inviting and the atmosphere is very laid-back! It doesn't matter who you are -- if you are interested in a good beer, this is a great place to stop.

No food is sold here, so be sure to bring in your own munchies! Check out Trader Moe's -- a beer shop that serves as an extension to this fine establishment!

On our way to Ohio, we stopped in at Moe's for a couple of pints before getting back on the road.  (not as bad as it sounds; I was doing most of the drinking, and my wife was doing most of the driving).

Walking into Moe's, it was an obvious beer geek bar - a great selection of local taps and a great bottle selection.  My wife had a Flower Power IPA.  I had a big beer from Element brewing.  In addition to the beer, they have an amazing whiskey collection - mostly bourbons and American whiskeys, but also some great scotches.  I wish I'd had time to sample some.

The atmosphere was warm and friendly.  We ended up chatting with half the people in the bar, and, as it turns out, one of them was the owner.  He and I talked about his whiskey collection (he was suitably proud), and how we wished there was a bar like Moe's nearer to us.  He invited us to drop in anytime.

As we were leaving, he thanked us.  Out loud.  With words.

We did stop in again (on the way back), and were met with the same great treatment, and a few new beers!

Rock solid place.  Knowledgeable, friendly, family owned, great selection of beers (as well as single malt scotch - my preference) and great atmosphere.

Awesome bar with awesome beer. Also great people in chill atmosphere. Great selection of beers with knowledgeable staff...if you don't like beer. Delicious margaritas!

This place is awesome. The beer selection is out of this world. They carry my favorite brand (Abita) as well as a bunch of other cool, funky, hard to find brews. They also carry GreenFlash which was also a favorite of one of my companions.

The clientele is cool, local, and down to earth. This place is a little bit off the beaten path, which prevents the touristy, yuppie crowd from taking over.

There isn't a ton of seating and I imagine that this place can get pretty crowded.

I didn't get to try the wings but they smelled phenomenal!

The owner is also super nice.

Go to Moe's! Get the Abita! Don't be a Yuppie!

My mother & sister and I found Moe's by accident after shopping nearby on Saturday. I was impressed with the good beers they had advertised in the windows, so how could I not go in? I was jonesing for a beer as soon as I saw the place.

When we walked in I was surprised that NO ONE but the owner was there. We decided to sit at the bar. I love how the place is decorated with Simpsons stuff and all the cool beer signs!

My sister and I ordered a Smuttynose Summer Ale, and it was citrusy and wonderful. My mom can't drink, so she just had a seltzer w/ lemon, and she got some yummy mini hotdogs too. We shared the dogs, which were DELISH. I also got a big basket of popcorn (which was only $3).

I was hoping to go back before I came back to Boston on Sunday, but I didn't get the chance. I hope Moe's stays for a long time, because I want to go here whenever I go visit my family in the Berkshires. The owner chatted with us, and he was very nice. I can't wait to go back!

Damn good beer selection, and it's about time Lee had a destination. You'll find Dogfish Head, Troeg's, Stoudt's and Allagash regularly, plus an enormous amount of craft bottles. Hot dogs and fries are the only eats, but I hope it stays a while.
My only complaint: they need to lower the music volume. It's always so high you have to speak loudly to overcome it.

I just went here last night for the first time and I have to say I enjoyed it, even though I couldn't stay long. The choices of beer where not necessarily the common ones, but that is what makes it great. You can get a Coors Light/Bud Light anywhere but some of the other choices aren't that easy to find.

The bar itself isn't huge but with god lighting and a good L shape bar, there seems to be a god amount of seating.

It seems like a good place just to meet up with some old friends and drink some victory.

Moe's Tavern, tucked away on a side street in Lee (but with plentiful parking), is a real find -- a low-frills, high quality alter to the transformative powers of good beer.  The owner, Josh Cohen, knows his suds, from hop-heavy IPAs to serious bocks and stouts, and knows that a good beer has the power to inspire, to start conversations, to lift up rather than tamp down your expectations for the rest of the day.  The extensive bottle menu is impressive, but what makes the joint are the rare finds on draft -- local beers and the best of the national microbrew class.  Think Arrogant Bastard, Dale's Ales, Dogfish Head 60-Minute IPA, Green Flash and Hop Rod Rye, and then think some more.  Cohen's kitchen is still minimal, serving a solid hamburger/hot wings fare, but look for that to expand as word of mouth circulates.  Located a block from Main Street USA, a mile or so from the Lee outlets, and surrounded by the rolling hills and hiking trails of western Massachusetts, Moe's should develop into a destination for locals and visitors alike, cashed out from the shops or tapped out from the trails, looking for a place to refuel.
