Yes I like wings good and Hot. This place was the one that got me hooked on the suicide style wings  - so hot you cry with tears running down your face HOT. As I have gotten older I prefer to eat the wings - Just as hot, why not? Even though age may seem a rudimentary foundation to cutting back on spicy food I prefer to keep my insides as strong as the rest of me. Tuesday night is the only night you will get a seat at a table. If you aren't into  the place by 6 PM on Wednesday or Thursday you will not get to sit down. Sometimes you wonder why everyone is here. I think the community meetings are held nearby, otherwise its just cramped to move around comfortably. If there was a pool table here I never found one, the place is always hopping when I visit.
Review Source:Mosby's was hyped up a lot by people I have talked to in the area, so we went on a Friday night to see what all the hype was about. Â Come to find out, if you go on a Friday you better have reservations. Â The wait was 2 hours, so we left. Â We came back on a Sunday and they were closed. Â Finally we went on a Tuesday and we got a table no problem. Â We started with wings, and they were good, and crispy. Â The wings could have been meatier but they were good. Â The blue cheese was sub par, it didn't seem homemade. Â My wife ordered the marinaded chicken salad with balsamic, I had a blue cheese burger. Â They had a burger that had Cajun seasoning and hot peppers. Â I thought if you are going to have a burger with Cajun seasoning why not a black and blue burger? Â So i added the seasoning tot he burger. Â I ordered the burger medium and the burger was cooked perfectly and it was very juicy and tasty. Â The burger came with chips but I subbed them out for onion rings for $2.50 more. Â The onion rings were really good, and surprisingly sweet. Â My wife's salad came out with a pile of fries on it?!? Â They looked like cheap frozen fries, but what were they doing piled on the salad? Â The chicken had great flavor, the dressing was homemade. Â Our waitress was very friendly and the place was clean. Â I would say their menu could be a little more focused and it didn't live up to all the hype we heard but all in all we were pleased and would go back again.
Review Source:Mosby's is a little restaurant in Mount Joy. Â Decent variety of menu items. Â Appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, seafood, steak, etc. Â One thing I like is the daily specials. Â Most restaurants have "daily features" which are the same meals that are already on the menu and cost the same as the menu price. Â When you ask what a daily feature is, it's nothing but bringing your attention to the fact that this meal is on the menu. Â But Mosby's is different; their daily specials are things that are unique for that day that are not found on the menu. Â So, every time you go there to eat, you have the option of at least one meal that you haven't seen before.
The food quality is good. Â The portions are ok. Â The wait staff is friendly. Â Good wings. Â The best time to go to Mosby's is on Tuesday nights for trivia, that is by far the most fun. Â You can play at the bar or in the family dining area and you can create teams and win gift certificates that can be used in the restaurant.
It's a nice little out of the way place to try and easy to find on the main street in Mount Joy.
