Outstanding delicious, super friendly, lovely spot on the way to Palomar Mountian.  My friends and I had a "mountain" salad with fresh vegetables & amazing Italian dressing, the best pozole soup I've ever tasted (& I've tasted a lot), grilled three-cheese sandwhich & huevos rancheros.  We got Italian wraps & chocolate chip cookies to go which were outrageously good.  Everything was delicious, fresh & made with a twist that was magical delicous-ness.  I'm a vegetarian who frequents all the hot spots in L.A., I wish this were closer to me everyday!  YUM!  Do not miss this place on your trip up the mountain a must !!

Had the lasagna and cheese quesadillas, they both tasted great. Patio seating under the pine trees was super peaceful.

What a life saver and center of life on Palomar Mountain. Appears to serve, locals, transients, international tourists, internationally recognized astronomers, and biker gangs with the same inviting menu and gracious hospitality. Try the pozole. If your camping on the mountain - head in for breakfast instead of firing up the Coleman.
