Badger Mountain House is the new name. It is also listed on Yelp as Badger Mountain House by me.
This Bar and Grill is all newly remodeled and rebuilt be the new owners. I had not been there before when it was known as Mountain House-Mullins'; it also was Sisters Mountain House Saloon at one time.
The new owners have done a fantastic job and have invested a ton of money. There are three large decks with tables out back with a fabulous view overlooking the forest and mountains. The back room has a few tables, a pool table and shuffle board. There is also overflow parking below.
Ice cold and a great selection of Libations and Beneficial juices. We had burgers with onion rings; the food was great. Super friendly and fast service. Looking forward to our return trip! Call ahead if bring a large group.
Located at the intersection of Hwy 245 and Dry Creek Dr 12 miles south of Hwy 180.
This place is in the most amazing location and they should really take full advantage of the peaceful surroundings.
My dad and I have been riding here for years and this last time was one of the not-so-happy experiences. Perfect weather, good food... crappy live music drowning out the great outdoors. Live music is great, but there is a time and a place and the middle of a Saturday for lunch does not work.
If my face didn't show enough dislike for the music, I hope they find out from someone else.
Spent the weekend recently in Three Rivers, and after an amazingly twisty ride, ended up at Mountain House for lunch. Â DEFINITELY a dive bar, not so much a destination place as it is a place to land after doing said twisties on a bike - fershure a biker hangout for the lunch crowd.
While it is a dive bar, it has an amazingly full set of taps...I figured it would be bud, bud, or maybe bud.....but no, it's got a wealth of options.
The grill is pretty basic, but serves up a broad fair also. Â Burgers, of course, but various sandwiches and fish and chips...
Nothing to write home about, but it's in the right place at the right time after a ride.  Worth making  that stop.
Great place to eat. Very reasonable food. Especially if you ride a motorcycle which we don't but there must have been at least 30 motorcycles out front on October 25, 2009.
I know it as the Sister's Mountain House. We've been there three times now. Will only take cash or checks. No credit cards.
One negative thing. The young cook was smoking as he cooked. I think he's the same guy who asked me for gas for his motorcycle when he drove by my house several months ago.
