This place used to be a much better with a wide variety! We recently went for dinner there and I didn't like the change much. They only have few types of pizzas and wings were not so good. In fact my dad got sick from their food. I do not recommended this restaurant anymore. I gave it 2 stars because the service was still somewhat nice.
Review Source:My family really enjoys Mountain Mike's Pizza's pizza. Â Although it's not my absolute favorite, I wanted to write a positive review because I appreciated the customer service I received yesterday. Â The employee even brought me my change to my car to help me out since I had children with me. Â Very kind and thoughtful.
Review Source:Mountain Mike's is usually our go to pizza place. Â However, I'm starting to rethink that....We decided to dine in this evening. Â It was quite surprising to me that the feature movie for "Family Night" was a "Final Destination" movie marathon. Â I wouldn't think R rated movies would be appropriate on a night with a family special. Â The pizza is pretty good, but 35 dollars seems steep for a medium pizza, salad bar, and soda for two. Â Maybe we'll stick with delivery.
Review Source:I love their PIZZA! I think it's the best pizza in the area and I'm so glad we have two in Tracy to choose from. Since I'm not a big meat eater I always get their Pineapple Chicken Luau pizza or Chicken Club pizza. The Luau pizza has juicy pineapples and the grilled chicken is on spot. They always give you good portions of the toppings and you definitely get your monies worth. The Chicken Club is probably my favorite here, with the creamy garlic sauce, tender chicken, fresh tomatoes, and sweet green onions will make your mouth water. The pizza is a little more pricey than the other chains but now I know why. They always have coupon deals in the paper too so just make sure you keep your eye out for those.
Review Source:Came here for the Wednesday all you can eat and it was a joke! I was here for 30 minutes and the same nasty pizzas just sat there...no one wanted them. I tried to ask for a refund so i could just buy a pizza and the owner said NO! Not to mention that i noticed that i DO NOT like there red sauce at all (too tangy). All the lettuce was pink and wilted and very disappointing! Eventually they started putting out pizzas but they were all half and half and mostly all covered in mushrooms so needless to say the good ones were gone quick.
I will never come here for all you can eat again...just go to Round Table on Tuesday!
I am a Mountain Mike's Pizza fan but not for the one in Tracy, at least eating in. We gave the buffet a try and it was disgusting, the place was super hot, no AC!!! We were dying in there. Got over crowded, seems people go there after baseball games and without AC its very uncomfortable to eat in, and rowdy, Â better order take out.
Review Source:The quality of the food is consistent. Â Mountain Mikes blows the doors off a Domino's or a Pizza Hut. Â This Mountain Mike's has great carry out service and the pizza is always ready when I arrive. Â
They delivery service is sub-par. Â I have have often ordered pizza for parties and request a specific delivery time. Â Mountain Mikes is 0-3 on being on time and at our last party in January they were 25 minutes late.
They staff inside at the counter seems like there is always something more exciting going on than taking my order, or my money.
Bottom line is that this is good pizza and average service.
Minus one star for the prices not being lower. Â Come on this is the recession right now! Â But aside from the price, this is a really good pizza joint. Â My friend lives right around the corner from here and we walked over and ordered a pizza. Â Super yummy. Â Their pizza is cheesy, a good helping of dough and I wanted to keep eating more. Â I'm so going back here again when visiting Tracy.
Oh one thing a local should try is their buffet. Â I know I would.
Incredibly disappointing. Â For over 30 miles of Yosemite backcountry I was dreaming of pizza. Â Cliff Bars, oatmeal, rehydrated pasta... bleh. Â My feet ached, my back was stiff, my calves were screaming as I ascended and descended thousands of feet. Â Of course the views were splendid, and this East Coast boy has never seen so many stars :-) Â But, alas, the first meal out of the backcountry is always the best and I wanted pizza!!
I stumbled back into the valley, found my rental car and it was thankfully bear-damage free, and I hit the highway.  Flight was  leaving the next a.m. outta OAK so I figured I'd stop for the night in Tracy, a mere hour away from the airport.  Checked myself into the surprisingly nice Best Western and researched some 'za.
Mountain Mike's, which we don't have back east, seemed the right choice. It had good reviews and they delivered. Â Strangely, their online menu didn't list any prices. Â But, shoot, how much could a medium pizza be (they have small, medium, large and XL). Â I ordered a medium veg. and a soda. Â I showered off the backcountry grime while anxiously awaiting my victory dinner.
The driver came within the promised time, but as soon as I saw him, I knew something was amiss. Â That's an awfully large bag to be holding one soda. Â That's because they sent me a 2-Liter instead of a single serving. Â The driver said they only carried 2 liter bottles so I didn't contest the price (that turned out to be a lie). Â I figured it was my fault for not specifying. Â Keep in mind, I had yet to see a written price, nor was one quoted to me on the phone. Â Granted, I didn't ask but how much could a medium veggie pizza and a soda be? Â $25! Â Yes, $25 friggn dollars including tax and delivery and tip. Â
I was highly annoyed at this point, but too tired to argue. Â I figured it would all be worth it if the pizza was amazing. Â I took my first bite, and..... really? Â That's it?? Â What a disappointment! Â It was average, just ok. Wasn't even that hot. Â Crust was crunchy and dry, not chewy like proper pizza. Â The vegetables were ok, but they used canned black olives, not the fresh ones you would find at a WHole Foods olive bar (remember, this isn't the $7.99 special here!). Â The sauce was plain, and the overall pizza was lacking in italian spices. Â The amount of toppings was good, but inferior pizza can't be masked by a pile of toppings. Â I don't know, maybe I'm spoiled having grown up near Philadelphia. Â Cheap, amazing pizza is something I'm used to. Â Hard to find where I live now in DC, but at least I know the lay of the land a bit better out here. Â I would have been much more satisfied with Dominos, and I would have come out at least $10 less poor.
Bottom line: Â Mountain Mike's pizza is ok, but absolutely NOT worth the price.
They deliver to Mountain House!!! WOOHOO.....
Food: I normally order the ham/pineapple or Veggie. Both extra sauce, well done (light charcoal).
Delivery: I know Mountain House isn't that new and I always get a phone call asking directions.. Lord, please don't have been driving around trying to locate me, that'll make for soggy, luke warm pie....
Facility: Party palace of softball players.... pizza taste better than delivered... always.. I perfer to eat in. Cold beer on tap (Coor's Light) WOOHOO.
Now, I do have the 4.5 yr old who loves video games when he gets to play them.. This place, they are most ALWAYS broken.... don't you rent these??? get em fixed!!!!!
I haven't been to Mountain Mike's in about 8 years. They have some of the best pizza's out there if your going to go to a corporate pizza place. Them and Round Table are some of my favorites.
I'm also not that big of a Vegetarian either. Mountain Mikes however has one of the best vegetarian pizza's out there. Its called the Mt. Veggiemore. "A Pizza landmark! Lots of mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, onions, artichoke hearts, and fresh tomatoes. A pizza so great, its likeness should be carved in the side of a mountain." (from their web site)
Its the only pizza I will eat from them also. Their others are good but that's the only one I eat now. So last night I convinced everyone that we should order that. Everyone was really happy.
