I welcomed this place to Ft. Smith and I've had some great experiences here. Â But tonight's dinner was nothing but bleh. Â The special was a sausage shish-k-bob with a side of corn on the cob. Â The waiter gushed about the creamy sauce on the corn but it was just a tepid, coagulated bit of cheese on a shriveled, not so fresh cob. Â The shish k bob had maybe 5 slices of sausage and fresh vegetables but NO seasoning and it had probably touched the grill for 30 seconds. Concept is great, venue is beautiful, food is lazy. Â Won't be going back, at least for a long while.
Review Source:This establishment is very upscale and the food seems to be very affordable for the type of cuisine they serve, Â but our experience here was below my expectations. We rented a screening room for our party and very special occasion. The movie lounge requires a $600 deposit and for the client to sign a contract for the spending amount to be at least $600. Â With 15 people buying food and drinks, Â exceeding this amount would not be a problem. Â The problem was that once everyone had arrived, Â we were not promptly greeted. Â It took some time for our server to take our drink order. Â Many of us ordered drinks appetizers and dinner all at once because we had the extra time to think about all of it. Food also took some time to come out. The smokers went out to smoke while the others were left with empty drinks. Both myself and a guest ordered the rack of lamb. I wanted mine mid-rare and his medium. Â Both came out rare with a great sear. I've worked in a restaurant for 4 years and I know what they are suppose to be. Not that red, especially on the medium. We did not complain, Â we didn't want to wait 30 more minutes for a recook. I enjoy dessert, Â but we had already been there for 2 and a half hour with other plans for the evening. It is the servers' job to determine if their guest want to have a slow lingering night or prompt attentive service. We asked for our checks and when it never came we all walked up to the desk and paid there. The event was on Saturday and I did not get my deposit back until I made several calls to them on Monday, Tuesday, then finally Wednesday. Mail or pick-up? Â Pick-up of coarse, Â I'm visiting from out of state, Â if you cannot deposit it back to where you took it, I prefer to pick it up. Its just a small thing in life. It won't matter in the long run. People will always be frustrating. As long as the problem gets fixed, that's all that matters. So you get an extra star. Â :/
