My Office. What can I say? I have been to this watering hole well over a dozen times, and I don't even live in Pullman. Each time we've gone there on vacation to visit relatives, this would be the place we'd get our drink on. Most times we would get there quite early, around 2 or 3, because the evening can get quite busy especially on weekends and if a game is on. Great selection of spirits and seasonal beers on tap that can only be had on the mainland. I can't remember how much different types of beers I tried! And as much times as i have been there, only ONCE have we ordered food. So bummed because the menu looks awesome. We did have some Parmesan and BBQ Wings, and they are a MUST TRY! The cool bartender girl said they had recently changed the way they made 'em, and they were on special and damn they were good! Big Mahalo to that bartendress, she was always super nice and even remembered us after not being there in a year. My Office, great place.
ALOHA!
They have a good selection of microbrews, which are sometimes discounted. Â Their food is pretty decent. Â However, it is often way too loud to hear the people sitting near you. Â Sports bars aren't really my favorite thing, and I could do without TVs everywhere you look. Â Not my favorite bar in Pullman, but I'll go there when others want to go there.
Review Source:My Office has the best bar name. ever. Hands down. How freaking clever!
You've got to appreciate the charm of a place where the waitstaff is totally friendly about the fact that sometimes the patrons are sitting there with a green face looking like they're about to throw up. Yea, I'm that girl, and I have no problem with it! I have to say the bathroom here has been host to my hangover on a few occasions, and that's... okay. At least the staffers are nice about it, I guess they are used to it.
Okay, so break it down: lots of TVs for game-watching (it is a sports bar,) local old men leering from the bar, decent food at decent prices? All A+ in my book. AND Not as busy as other local breakfast places on weekends, which says a lot in a college town.
If this place's name was My Office "bar", it would have received the full 5 stars. However, the "grill" part knocks it down a couple. Â The beer selection is good, and the waitresses are very friendly and attentive (if a bit short on memory), but the food is not that great. Â I have ordered food twice there, and both times the burgers were ok, but the fries were awful. Charging an extra two bucks to upgrade to something so terrible is atrocious. All in all good beer, not so great food! Â Great place to watch a Cougar away football game!
Review Source:This is the best sports bar in Pullman, hands down. Â If you are looking for something to do in downtown Pullman, this is the place to go. Â Not only are the drinks made with a professional touch, you can get some GREAT food for lunch or dinner...and it costs very little.
If you want great service, food, and drinks then My Office is the place to go.
After a night of drinking, we always hit up My Office for the 'out later than usual' crowd. Â It is very easy to get a drink here, and if you are ever there before the kitchen closes, you can actually get things OTHER than bar food. Â Think salads and sandwiches with fruit! Â It is very yummy too. Â Of course they also have the bar standards of nachos (unbelieveably huge!).
The servers are all great, and the bartenders usually are too. Â During games the place is packed. Â Tuesdays are the dart leagues. Â The jukebox is great for some drunken impromptu dance parties.
Of all the taverns, bars, pubs and clubs I have been to across the world, this is my favorite, my home, MY OFFICE! Â I really do believe I spent more time here than I ever did in any class room. Â Now I have had a few bars in my drinking career that I have called "My Stomping Grounds" but the office truly was and always will be my one and only stomping grounds.
If I had to pick something I didn't like about this bar, it would and only could be that the bartenders are mostly students who are there for a short period and then move along.
Despite this, they always seem to have a pretty good staff of servers and tenders who really know how to take care of good customers. Â Oh, by the way, I along with 2 other buddies hold the title of TAP 2 TAP champs. Â Yes thats right, we had a pint from every tap on the wall starting at bar opening and finishing right before close. Â Dont try the challenge, they wont let you, and if you saw how drunk we were it is doubtful you would even want to try.
This is one of the few places on a Sunday morning with people actually watching football. Plenty of screens for the sports enthusiast to see all of the games being played, and a pretty decent beer list too. More than just the normal Palouse lineup. Haven't tried the food yet, though.
Update: Tried the food, breakfast at least, and it definitely lives up to the 4 star rating. The breakfast sandwiches are right on target.
Love this bar! If you want to get away from Greek row and down and dirty with the locals, this is the place. A little more expensive than bars on the hill though. Definitely recommend checking it out. Beer is always good and their Washington Apples are always top-notch. Also, if you're into trivia, this is the place to waste an evening or afternoon with buddies.
Review Source:The coolest thing about this bar is the name. Â Professors of mine would always say that they were going to be "at my office" for the remainder of the day, and us informed college kids always knew better than to fall for their somewhat lame inside joke.
This is a great off-campus choice for a drink (or four) if you are "so over the campus party scene" already.
Also, if memory serves me correctly, I believe this bar has some fun and interactive jeopardy games, making this an entertaining and alternative spot to the other sub-par bars you'll find on campus.
