Mykel's Restaurant & Lounge

Visiting my home town, trying to find a decent bar, and stumbled in to the right place. The bartender, Rose, was very  friendly, fast, and made AMAZING drinks. Only ordered oysters for food, but let me tell you. Best. Oysters. EVER!

I was told this was the best seafood in the area and I have to agree (without trying anywhere else). The Seafood Platter was top notch (King Crab, Cod, and Seared Scallops with veggies). The crab was delicious and a generous portion, the cod was fantastic with chipotle tartar sauce, and the scallops were a nice addition.

Do not be fooled by the outside of this place. The restaurant is great.

Great food, great service.  Tuna appetizer is awesome and they serve a great prime rib.  Great spot for large parties.
