The burger we had for dinner was horrible.  DO NOT get a burger there.  However breakfast was pretty good.

Decent spot to stop and have some drinks and lunch . Nothing too special about it , food ok  and the drinks are ok .. If I'm spending my day at a bar like this I'm probably heading up to pirates..

Bar is decent. Severely overpriced! The upstairs restaurant is the worst place I have ever been to. Slow, rude, disgusting, and so much more. There were miscellaneous non food particles floating in our drinks and in our food. So shocked with how bad this place is. The view is nice  but its a big lake with a view from anywhere, so go somewhere else where you won't get sick from dining there.

Pulled up on the beach here to hang out for the afternoon. While the service at the restaurant wasnt quick by any means, the chicken quesadilla was delicious!!! Using 2 different color tortillas makes it a little more festive than your average quesadilla. Comes with yummy salsa and sour cream too. Im happy that I didnt have to wait for it, but judging from the frustration of the friend who had to, I could tell it was pretty bad. She said alot of people got served before she did when they arrived after her and she had to constantly ask about our food.

As for the bar area, it wasnt crowded at all, but we came at the end of the season. They make some yummy white gummy bear shots. They are actually white! And yes, Ive been to a place that served blueish green "white gummy bear shots." But anyway, had a good deal on some Pama shots for $2, but they were atleast half the size of the other shots we got.

Overall, it was atleast nice to see what this place has to offer. And if Im craving quesadillas, Im definitely coming here!

If you compare this to a 5-star restaurant, of course you'll be disappointed. It's basically the same kind of food you'd find at an Applebee's. It has a great view of the lake and the mountains. I would even go here for just the atmosphere. They've done some remodeling outside recently to include a private pool area for resort guests. You can go down to a small bar with tiki huts right on the edge of the lake for drinks. A very "island" vibe. There are two groups of people coming to this place, those on boats and those by car (or from the resorts). I don't know anything about boat access, but there is plenty of parking for cars. There is also a Starbucks near the entrance, but it closes early. I've never had big problems with the servers here. But they are "small town" servers, if that makes sense. Everyone seems friendly. I always bring family and friends here when they're visiting from out of town. The bar is actually happening in the evening, but it's a small bar. Recommended for the view during the day.

I have been to the Naked Turtle twice. Once for dinner, and once for an afternoon drink. Won't be making that mistake again! The service was slow, they were out of the food we ordered, and our waitress was rude. However, their beach bar was very popular the next day so we decided to grab a drink. We never got our drink, after sitting there for 15 minutes with bartenders and waitresses walking by and ignoring us we finally left. The view is about the only thing to recommend this place.

I stayed 6/11-6/13 at the Nautical Inn. I didn't have drinks in the downstairs bar, but upstairs in their restaurant section my friends and I decided to eat rather than drive into Havasu. What a mistake that was.  The food was adequate, but the service, the kitchen, and the bartenders are like a scene from "Kitchen Nightmares". We were seated ordered drinks, then some appetizers. 1/2 the appetizers came. There was no silverware. Complained to waitress about the kitchen. The other 1/2 of the appetizers came, (you guessed it) with dinner.

Now the food was good for the most part, but then a smart a@!ed bartender who cannot make limes magically appear, when asked, tried to help us. The manager was consulted. Listened attentively to our complaints, apologized for her staff, and took 20 % off our bill. That's fine and dandy. But.....

This is a nice resort and they are asking decent money to stay here, but I'll think twice about staying here again. For this kind of money I require a professional restaurant experience. And if the excuse is "What do you expect in Havasu?". My response is get people who don't have jobs from Phoenix, LA, or Vegas. They know good service.

i stayed at the nautical and came in for a sec but opted to go upstairs to the restaraunt. it had a bunch of tattoed deutche bags running around being idiots. upstairs was much better but the service is sslllooowwwww.....we ate here out of convenience and watched a laker game but thats about it. if you are on the water and want to stop in for a drink then  the bar is ok. don't spend all day here though. if you have a minute then the restaraunt is good but it might take awhile!

Life is good!  Lots of water, excellent scenery, palm trees, and margaritas!  The bar was a little shabby, needs a little up keep.  However, the view was excellent!

Was in town for the 2011 Jet Ski World Finals, grant it now I been at all of the 30 finals except 2 and have been going to Havasu since the late 70's.

I was with the sanctioning body for many years and with one of the major manufactures, as I said earlier I know Havasu like the back of my hand. I was going to this restaurant since it was the "The Captain's Table" always a Great place, I'm just going to say that it might be a Great place for drinks and that's it, I not sure if I would even say that it has mediocre "bar" food or up to par with mediocre bar food.

We ordered appetizers and one of them was Hot Wings, as the food server brought out our appetizers (without plates) she then asked up if we would like plates, I then said. Yes we would ! (thinking we would have to do something with the spent chicken bones). We waited for plates and then starting eating our hot wings, never bought plates for the used bones, I ordered their half chicken and it was dry as hell, looked like it was sitting around all day, left the place hungry but that's OK I will never return, many other Great places to eat in Havasu !

the area has a very scenic setting. it makes you feel like your in a tropical paradise with the decore of the sand, palm trees, and the lake. unfortunately, the service is really slow, from the orders to the arrival of the food. i suggest that you do not go there hungry because the wait can be unbearable. but while you wait, you can conveniently enjoy a few drinks from their stocked bar. you especially have to try there 1st listed well drink that states that it bring lovers together. the rating on the food was good. i created my own burger with all the works that tickled my taste buds. it was super yummy. i also got the wings which was pretty standard which made my burger even better. obviously there isn't many places in lake havasu to eat, but you can rely on this place to satisfy your hunger at a reasonable price.

The name alone says it all - slow, laid back and very little clothing.

I've spent many a drink hanging out at the bar, soaking up the spray from the misters as they're going full blast to ward away the desert heat, dancing to the music piped in through the speakers, and watching the crazy bartenders slinging drinks that taste as yummy as they look.  If you've never had rum and ice cream in a drink, you should try it.  And if you don't fill up on the ice cream drinks, have a plate of wings or a veggie plate.  Buy yourself a t-shirt from the store and you're set for an evening that's bound to end with a hangover.

TIP:  Wednesday is half-price entrees in the restaurant!!

The Naked Turtle is a great place to park the boat and have a drink.  I recommend the Pina Pond.

Only reason why I didn't give 4-5 stars.. the bartenders can get a little uppity if you ask them to remake your drink if it tastes weird or not right. The food is so-so.

Nice view, friendly staff, kinda pricey on the drinks but what do you expect for something right on the water. I would def come back. We love looking around in the gift shop and they have nice souvieniers like shirts and cups etc.

What's with all the bars around here having 'naked' in their names? I guess it's just a clever marketing ploy for when the spring breakers are in town?

Anyway, I really wanted to give this place a higer rating.

The setting is fantastic, right on Lake Havasu with a great view of the city, and a small beach right next to it. The happy hour prices also looked good (1/2 price options), but sadly other than the setting, I was disappointed.

The food is basically cheap bar food. Maybe I had a bad sampling because I stuck with the happy hour items and not the regular menu items. But of the 4 things I tried, none were great.

The calamari was probably the best thing I had. Big meaty pieces of calamari and decent batter. But the BBQ wings were tough and chewy. The mushroom poppers were soggy inside. The beef skewers were decent, but nothing to write home about.

The service was average at best. We had to flag her down once or twice despite only a couple other people being there, but she did a decent job checking on us.

The best reason I can see to come here is to have drinks. If I had just done that and skipped the food, I'd probably give it 3 or 4 stars.

It's a good bar, but not a good restaurant.

Another place to skip the food, but go for atmosphere and drinks.

A skin watching, heat soaking, view catching, drink having good time.

Though I could do with a little less testosterone filled showing off.  I suppose that just goes with the territory, though.

Fun fun fun!! The Naked Turtle is a great place to get fun drinks on the water. Lots of palm trees, misters, music, food, and tropical drinks! It has an overall good vibe. I loved that they give out souvenir cups with every signature cocktail. I recommend this as a day hangout spot, when you want a change of scenery off your boat. Can't wait to come back and bring the girlfriends!! Weee!!

I never understood why you would go to a bar when everybody is out on the water drinking...but coming here around 5 or 6PM as the sun was going down was a better idea than I thought. I forgot how much I paid for my scotch but it seemed to be a pretty full glass and for that I thank you. I probably liked this place because there was a combination of me being shmammered out of my mind, the cool breeze and being only inches away from the water (which was very inviting considering I didn't have a boat for this weekend). I strongly suggest to get as drunk as possible and in an awesome meth-induced stunt, to run off the dock and onto a boat going full speed and hopefuly land in the passenger side, kind of like Dukes of Hazzard. Trust me, it'll be a good time and you'll be giving this place 5 stars in no time.

Man the sevice sucks here and the food is subpar but it's the only place close by. The frist time we when here we did not even get real eggs. They gave us powder and water and called it scrambled eggs... Food would come cold. Seems the new owers don't really care at all how down hill this place has gone.

great tiki bar right on the lake... they expanded the place last summer, too bad they couldn't create more beach to pull up on, as boat-parking is a premium on the weekends, and yes, some people park like assholes, and do silly things like try to save their spot when they leave... as if, ya tourist!

killer bloody marys ( yeeeeah...horseradish, celery salt,  pickled asparagus spear & olives - yum). the pina pond turtle is a neat twist on pina colada - they use captain morgan, which gives it a toasted-coconut-esque flavor.

great laid-back vibe, usually pretty good music

A great place to relax after a day on the lake.
I usually stay at the Nautical Inn, but if you don't they have a slip or beach your boat on the sand. But PLEASE make sure the driver of the boat isn't drinking.
    Good bar food.
    Prices are reasonable.
What a view, right on the lake.
Try a bucket---plenty to share with your friends.
The staff are usually friendly and seems to really care that you have a good time.
Booze, food, great views (not just the lake).
Stop by and give it a try.

You gotta try the bar's signature bucket drinks.Very tasty! Food is quite good with nice variety.  Also, you can't beat the view - right on the beach with your boat parked just steps away.

Great live cover band this past friday...a little Van Hagar, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, 311, Limp Bizkit and on....nice range guys!! Sounded good.

Yeah, your gonna run into a few flatbiller douche-bags here. There's a wide range of people though....it is a "resort" type bar. If you hang out in your boat in the bay like me though they can't really get to you....hahaha.

You can park your boat in the sand and walk right up to the bar. Now how's that for convenience?!

I love their buckets of mixed drinks, but have learned an important lesson...If you have 3 or more people go ahead an order a bucket, but always order an appetizer or meal with your bucket. Your friends will thank you!

The food is tasty and a bit greasy which pairs well with the booze. The beverages, food, misters, and friendly crowd make the Naked Turtle a must after a long day on the water! Just be sure one person stays sober to drive the boat home...

Great atmosphere.  Who wouldn't love an outdoor tiki bar?

Walk up to the bar from your boat - you can moor it right on the beach in front of the place.  That means you can hang out with your friends in your board shorts and enjoy the beautiful afternoon!

Whatever you do, don't have the Painted Turtle Tai.  That is unless you plan to get naked. Juuuusst kiddin.  But for any chick that's down for an ego boost, this is the place.  From Vegas - just a two hour road trip down to Havasu and cute outdoor hut/bar at the Nautical Inn resort right on the lake.  Plenty of shirtless men with boats and guts (not the fat kind, the ambitious kind) to talk to you within 5 minutes.  Boat rides accessible with anchoring right on the shore that the bar overlooks.  Of course I advise all to take precautions and decline midnight runs with an intoxicated stranger.  But can be a good place to catch a slow cruise with someone trustworthy through the channel down to the London Bridge area and the Kokomos Club (though not worth staying at for over 45 minutes) or make dates for boating the next day.  Also not a bad place to head back to the next morn/afternoon for some food to cure the hangover - I recommend the cheese quesadillas.  I never saw a turtle but I did see naked!
