Nancy's A-Maize-N Sandwiches

Fried tacos and pickles were wonderful! Service was excellent! They are all very friendly there.

Great greasy spoon spot for breakfast. The help was a little "str-ug-ul-ling", but grub/portions was spot-freaking on.  Check out the "Big Mama", almost beats driving drive to the "East side" for the slop. (riverside cafe).

I'm sure the sandwiches here are just fine but, honestly, I've never eaten one here.  (I'm sure they're every bit as good as those at The Artichoke.)  We always go for the breakfast.  Sizable portions and delicious all the way around.  In my opinion, they should remove the word "sandwiches" from their name and replace it with "breakfast".  As for the service, this is a small town restaurant with a strong cafe feel.  Everyone is nice enough.  No one has ever been rude.  My order has been perfect every time and we've never been disappointed.  If you're looking for a waiter or waitress to act like they're your BFF, then maybe you should go to Yia Yia's or Chile's.  This place is about the food, and the one thing they DID get right in their name is the word "A-Maize-N.  We'll definitely be back...again and again.
