New Market Bar-B-Q

To start off, Libby and Kelly are some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. The food is delicious . My favorites are the ribs, smoked turkey breast  and brisket. They have a menu to cater to everyone's tastes. From baked potato to wings. And the desserts, oh my. Come to New Market get some BBQ and sit outside next to the creek.

Great food and friendly owners, what more could you ask for! Went with my wife and kids for the first time last week. We got the family platter which had 2 pounds of barbecued chicken, ribs, turkey and pulled pork. Very tasty meats with a nice selection of sauces and the most incredible mac and cheese anywhere this side of my grandmothers house. My family went through the whole platter and sides like it was their last meal, there were no leftovers!

After all of that, they made room for dessert. We all got something different and everyone loved what they got. The chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting was ridiculously good.

Kelly and Libby have created a great food experience and it's worth the drive if you live in Huntsville, it's just up the road in New Market.

On a beautiful sunny day near the end of March, I drove up and had a pork BBQ sandwich with all their usual trimmings and a small side of macaroni-n-cheese. The sandwich was very good and the Mac-n-cheese more so! They apparently cook the mac-n-cheese in their BBQ pits; it had a nice hickory flavor. I'll have to try their brisket next time; I heard from another customer that it's even better than their pork.  I love the outside & inside of the building, very clean and comfortable, home-like feeling! :) The owners were very nice as well and even game me an impromptu tour of their BBQ pits. I'll be back!! :)
