Stopped in mid-week on a recent vacation to the area. Definitely rocking the dive-bar groove but clean. Good draft beer selection (and they advertise a good bottle beer selection but I stuck to the taps).
Plus, I always appreciate a place that has a trivia night.
Would definitely re-visit if I go back through the area.
What? No one's reviewed this seemingly beloved bar?
I hung out at Niner's with a bunch of people two nights in a row, back in July 2010 when everyone was in town for a wedding. Pretty awesome spot, with what looks like a pressed-tin ceiling painted a shiny brown, making it look like melted chocolate.
There were two or tree tables in the front of the house with enough space to accommodate a medium-sized group of people looking to hang out and have drinks. There was of course the bar area with a couple of high tops against the opposite wall. Heading towards the back, there was a popcorn or peanut machine -- one of those snacky things that start with the letter P. There were after that a couple of small, lonely tables, dartboards, and then the restrooms.
Friends, booze, darts, and free munch-things -- I don't remember many details but we all had a great time. Well done!
