9th St. Pub is okay. Â I come here every few weeks for a drink during the week because I can't stand the crowd on the weekend and how loud and crowded it gets in there. Â You get a good drink in here if you tip your bartender appropriately. Â I really like the bartenders in this bar. Â They are very friendly and are willing to help you find some music that you would enjoy listening to. Â Some of the people who hang out in here can be kind of seedy but you can expect that in any bar. Â So far so good for this place. Â I hear their food during the day is awesome though but I've never had any of it myself but give it a try if you want somewhere to eat.
Review Source:Didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised!  We ordered a burger and their fried chicken special along with a few drinks.  The burger was excellent (Tex Mex) I believe.  The fried chicken was even better!  Tasted like the Colonel's or very close!  Atmosphere was good, nothing fancy  - but it's a pub.  Waitress was friendly.  Great value as the chicken was $2.95 with fries.  Our total bill with tip was under $30.00 for two of us and that was with multiple beer's and a mixed drink.  Great place to go if you want a good meal for a reasonable price!  Compliments to the cook!
Review Source:This place has a real old country town bar atmosphere - oil cloth covered tables, locals at the bar and a cavern-like dining area. Â We are driving from California to Toronto so we are just looking for places with edible food, not gourmet establishments. Â So I was very happy when I saw that they had Woodchuck cider on tap as well as a good micro-brew for my husband. Â The food was great. Â I had the fried Walleye with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Â The fish was great and the fries were thin and crisp. Â My husband had the prime rib sandwich. Â The bill came to $22 with the drinks. Â Try getting a pub meal like that for that price in San Jose!
