I try to stop here any time I'm driving through Centralia. Dick's Beer! Â Cured meats! I mean, come on. Â It's perfection. Â You can get the Dick's Beer sampler featuring all 11 beers they have on tap (highly recommend). Â I tend to not eat the sandwiches here, They are fine, but not fabulous. Â I really only stop for the beer and pepperoni sticks :)
If you are staying at Great Wolf Lodge or driving through Centralia this is a worthwhile place to visit.
We used this shop for two of our pigs to do the smoking and the bacons were HORRIBLE!! The first pig's bacon was extremely SALTY! Like to the point where you can't even eat it. The second pig had no smoke flavor at all! I cant eat either pig's bacon. This place ruined all my bacon! They will not take responsibility for any of it! There has been several other people whose bacons were also ruined. The owner even told another customer that the meat shop was rubbing salt on it before they wrapped it! Are you kidding me! Now your going to bad mouth the butcher shop that was giving you business!!!! Take responsibility for what you messed up!! Owner also claims her and her husband are the only ones that do the smoking. Well thats hard to believe when another customer came in and they were on vacation and another guy was doing it. She also claims they always use the same recipe every time. Well obviously not if we got 2 different kinds of messed up bacon, but they stuff they serve at the store is great..How does that work??
We have talked to several other people who ate here before they had them do the smoking on their pigs and said it was great, but their personal bacon was ruined. We will be bringing in both our pigs bacons to have them replaced. The butcher shop we use shouldn't be having to replace bacon for people when THIS place is the ones that screwed it up! DONT EAT HERE!! Â They dont give a CRAP about their customers!!!
My second visit. Â The first time was much better.
It's a cool atmosphere most suited for lunch in my opinion.
My sandwich came with a hoagie roll which was dry and crumbly. Â Not very good at all.
I think it was stale.
I'll go back. Â The first time was much better.
I'm hoping this was an anomaly.
This place is a secret gem that is worth the trip. They serve delicious hot and cold sandwiches at a very reasonable price. You can also purchase pepperoni and sausage made in house. Maybe one of the best parts is that you can buy a full array of Dick's Beer by the glass, bottle, case, growler, or keg.
Review Source:Hooray for this place! Â Went there for lunch after staying at the Great Wolf Lodge up the street. Â Our 2 year old had a hot dog on a stick and liked it!
Five stars for the tri-tip grilled sandwich....yummy! Â Excellent potato salad...one of the best I've ever had.
Would definitely recommend this place!
Fantastic Find! Â Staying up the road @ Great Wolf Lodge where the hotel food choices are typical. Â Looked for a lunch place on Yelp, got directed here.
What you'll find - fresh sandwiches with their meats from onsite. Breads fresh, tasty. Â Also, lots of Dick's beer choices on tap & in bottle. Prime Rib Dip on Hoagie Roll - delicious. Potato Salad & Baked Beans were both good sides. 8 year of son had the hot dog in a bun. Very good hot dog, he said it tasted different, and liked it. Â Their dog is a more dense and substantial meat than the cheap stuff from grocery stores. Â
Two adults & kid = $32 (including a cold beer). Will remember to stop next time I'm traveling by!
A friend introduced this place to me this weekend. I really like smoked meats and this place has some very nice examples to try. We were staying for lunch which meant we had to try some of Dick's Brewery beer. My friend had a Sausage Dog and since I wasn't too hungry, I tried the snack platter. It turns out that the snack platter can make a great lunch! It has swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, pepperoni, summer sausage, crackers and thin sliced bbq pork with sweet hot mustard. The bbq pork was great. I would have bought some by the pound to take home but I was not going home right away. I will definitely be back to eat again and to get more of the smoked meats. The service was good, the place was clean, the price was right, the food was very good AND the beer they brew right next door is AWESOME. We shared the sample tray which had 11 different beers that they serve on tap there. The 11 glasses of 4oz samples per tray  was $11 (not bad price). Definitely the best way to find your favorite.  Kudos Dick and the crew!
Review Source:Stopped by here for the Dick's beer (we actually thought it was a brew pub), but found that its a really cute little family restaurant. Â When you walk in, the entry is a deli that carries seasoned steaks, meats, sausages, cheese, and of course Dick's beer. Â The restaurant is adjacent, its a small, casual space.
The server was very friendly. Â They didn't have a kids menu, but we ordered hot dogs on a stick for the kids. Â I had the Reuben sandwich and my husband had the tri tip special. Â The meats are amazing. Â The kids hot dog, it was a little weird for them, I'm not sure what it was, but it tasted like a pastrami hot dog. Â Very tasty (a little hard to get the kids to try something different at first, but they liked it). Â Everything else was really tasty.
The clientele - I was expecting a more young vibe, but when we walked in there, everyone sitting down at tables was over 65, at least. Â But it is a very clean restaurant with great service and reasonable prices.
I would definitely come back here again, and we're hoping to do the Brewery tour one of these days.
Small, clean, unassuming brewery. Â The beers were awesome. Â we were also really impressed with the look of the meats, but haven't gotten into the suasage we brough home yesterday. Â Wold have liked to try some food or the brewery tour, but it sounds like food is a Thursday-Friday engagement, and the brewery tour is fridays only. Anyway, that's fine, their purpose is to brew, and that they do. Â I always expect that I'll be able to get beer for pennies on the dollar, and always manage to be surprised when they charge more at the brewery than they do in the stores - I think $2.50 a bottle for the strong beers is too much, considering I can get the same beers in MSM for $1.80, and get a delicious sandwich while I'm there. Â Anyway, their beer is top-notch, and this is a nice quiet little place to have some beer close to the source if you're driving through Centralia. Â Look forward to going back and doing the tour.
Review Source:Used to eat here regularly when I would visit the area every summer. Awesome lunches. I've never had the chance to order the dinner here though. They have a great selection of meats and cheese. When ever I do come I always end up leaving with a massive variety of pepperoni sticks and beer. Nice locally owned place. Nice outdoor patio. Nice people. I suggest you give it a try if you are in the area. Go eat there right meow!
Review Source:We mainly came here for here to sample Dick's Brewing beers, but the meat platter we sampled was also tasty.
Northwest Sausage & Deli carries the full line of Dick's Brewing, which makes this a great stop if you happen to be in town on a day when the tasting room at the brewery itself is closed (which is what happened to us). Dick's Danger Ale is their flagship beer, but I also recommend the Working Man's Brown and the Silk Lady.
Nice secluded little patio out back in a garden setting, which is on the small side but was still able to accommodate our group of six comfortably. The retail shop is nicely laid out and well stocked.
