Sat and ordered a grilled chicken salad and a salad topped with blackened salmon. Â One hour later, and many daft apologies later, still no food. Â The table next to us sat ten minutes after us. Â When they got their food, it was time to go. Â I must say, in the hour we sat there, we watched other people's food come out. Â The sandwiches looked above par, but the salads and lunch entrees looked mediocre at best. Â I'm eating lunch at Bistro 217 right across the street right now. Â Don't waste your time stopping at Nosh.
Review Source:Hostess was very confused about where to seat patrons. Once we were finally given a table we were warmly greeted by our server. However she never returned to ask about our meals nor to ask if we needed a drink refill. Meal was unimpressive. Had portabello mushroom fries which were quite bland. One entree were fish tacos but had little taste. Â The other a tomato mozzarella salad which was just ok.
Took quite a while to get our check. With so many great options in the Myrtle Beach area I doubt we'll return. Just not impressed.
Hailing from Los Angeles, we've been working in Myrtle Beach for a couple of months and have scoured the town for a decent place to eat. Feeling as though we had exhausted our local options, we ventured south to Pawleys Island. We arrived at a charming little craftsman village surrounded by trees and soon found ourselves in what felt like a New Orleans style open air patio complete with bar and a comfortable, warmly lit dining ambience. We stuck with the "small plates" in favor of sharing all of the dishes among the table. We ate nearly everything they had to offer, and not one dish disappointed.
My crew and I made the unanimous decision that we had just eaten the best meal since California. We're snobs, and we were very impressed. Great food, great service, great ambience, good wine, bad cocktails...
Just don't order a cocktail; their bartenders could use some practice. Would have been five stars...but if you can't make an old fashioned, c'mon it doesn't get much more classic than that.
First of all, the pavilion is the outdoor patio. My husband and I sat inside which was much quieter and nicely decorated. There was only one other table in the dining room; four older ladies who were so rowdy, loud, and inappropriate they totally ruined our experience.
Anyway, the escargot was very bland. Fried lobster ravioli was good. Lamb chops were very tasty. Conch was nothing special; tasted like chewy chicken and sauce was too lemony. My husband had a glass of chianti that he didn't care for.
Tried this with my husband while visiting my parents in Litchfield. We were there at an odd time, around 2:30, so the restaurant was empty. Sat on the patio, which was very beach-ey. We were sooooo happy to find this place! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! I had the Prime Rib sandwich - tender, with this incredibly seasoned au jus; my husband had the mussel special, which he loved. They had a very extensive cocktail/martini list, and the Red Berry Squeeze was awesome! Highly recommended!
Review Source:Went for lunch on a weekday. Â They didn't appear to be busy but service was horrible and slow. Â The waiter never checked to see if we were ok while we waited. Â We ordered sandwiches and it took a little over a half hour to get them. Â Would only be two stars but the smoked turkey and brie sandwich was good and I don't often find brie sandwiches out so that was a plus. Â Interior really pretty with the exposed beams and brick walls.
Review Source:Our reservations where at 6:30 for a party of 6 on friday night. Not a big crowd to start with but people slowly came in. The band did not start till 8.Wine and drinks where ordered. One side was hardwood floors open ceilings and a bar. The other side was table clothes and cloth napkins plus a little quieter..The wine seemed to be the going
drink of the evening. We had about 6 different dishes from beer battered shrimp to
grilled Ma-hi-Ma-hi. Lamb chop's to Lobster was just the beginning of choices. Service
was a little slow but the company of good friends and the fresh baked bread and olive oil with garlic was not bad. The appetizer list ranged from several soups to fried calamari. The band that night was a mix of beach to blues. Nice evening.
Be forewarned, that the Best advice is to avoid the warmed-over, small portioned dishes and indifferent service and just shop the various stores. Sad attempt.
The one kind thing that can be said is that the drinks are a "good pour" with the weekend bands being some of the best around.
Awesome food, great service.  The deck was a perfect place to enjoy drinks, appetizers and savory selections. Tomato bisque soup was out of this world.  Highly recommend calamari, herb garlic cheese appetizer with olives and sundried tomatoes and the spinach  and crab dip.  Ahi tuna, beer battered shrimp and chicken and lobster were all awesome.
