  I think they changed the name to Bar H restaurant .  We stopped on our way home to Arlington, TX the food was good home cooking chicken fried steak and fried prok chops and great service.  We took some peach cobbler with us , my husband said it was alright but I thought it was very good.

  After a long days drive it was nice to find a home cooked meal...Their name says it all- its Nuttin Fancy but the food was good and the service was as friendly as it gets..We enjoyed the Chicken Fried Chicken and Sour Cream Enchiladas. Also, the Apple Pie made from scratch was amazing.

  This place was amazing.  Took me and two grown kids in and had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was hot,home made, and many options to choose from.

  After a very long road trip and tons of junk food, we stopped at Nuttin' Fancy and I'm so happy we did!   They have true home cookin that is delicious!   Burgers to mexican to salads to chicken fried steak.  The restaurant is very clean and the staff very friendly.  I will definitely stop again on the way to/from Colorado.

  We were on a "hell drive" returning to Dallas from Colorado Springs last week and had intended on stopping at The Big Texan Steakhouse in Amarillo. Unfortunately, it was slammed on Saturday night and we were tired and decided to try finding a suitable hotel and food in Clarendon, TX (about 45 minutes south of Amarillo). At 8:45, we pulled into the Best Western Plus Red River Inn for a room. Fortunately, they could accommodate us and my wife asked about where to eat. Without hesitation, the clerk told us to hurry down to the "Nuttin' Fancy Cafe" as they closed at 9:00.
  At exactly 8:58, we arrived and were greeted by friendly wait staff who were very enthusiastic about feeding us. (I can imagine this in most large cities where we probably would have been refused as "its closing time, etc.")
  We both ordered the chicken fried chicken, french fries, and fried okra. Everything was cooked fresh to order - not reheated. The chicken was juicy and tender with an excellent taste. As the name states, this was "nuttin' fancy," just good food and friendly people. We would gladly stop here on our next trip.

  As we traveled our way from Nevada to Marshall, TX, we stopped at this lovely cafe on the way! The food was absolutely nothing short of delicious and the service was awesome! Real down to earth home cooking!! I expected this place to be good, but not this good! I would recommend this place to anyone passing through or living near here! I REALLY enjoyed the Guacamole Chicken Sandwich! Best I have ever eaten! I loved that everything on the menu was homemade. It doesn't get any better than that!.
