There always seems to be a lively group of people here on the rare occasion I go out on a weekend. It's nice to know there will be other people at Nutz when the other bars are barren.
I usually go to Nutz for the food. I am in love with their shrimp. It's nothing fancy, just some deep fried bar shrimp, but it's crispy and I can count on them having Guinness on tap for me to drink while I'm there too.
I've heard some great things about the Blue Moon Burger (nearly everyone I go there with orders it). I believe they have been once again voted as best burger in town, too.
Nutz Deep is a pretty decent bar. As a guy who doesn't drink, I can't comment on the beer or alcohol selection. As an avid consumer of burgers and fries, I CAN speak to the quality of the greasy eats. In short, the burgers are very good. I don't want to go as far as say they are great, but they are definitely very good. They're probably tied or slightly better than the burgers at Brown's Bar. I like the service at Nutz Deep and think the prices are fair. As a non-native of Wisconsin, it's difficult to compare this place to other bars in town, but I can confidently say that you can do worse than Nutz Deep. It's recommended.
