Very large, interesting venue and outdoor space. I've heard a couple bands here on the main stage and smaller stage; both went very well. I also attended the state fair which was fun to go to and people watch for sure. It's a worthy venue to attend an event or listen to a group you like.
Review Source:Summer always seems to find me attending a handful of concerts at Oak Mountain. Love a good show in great weather in this venue. Drink tip--tailgate before the show because drinks are pricey (there's even a gas station right behind the amphitheater where you can buy your supplies). Once inside the amphitheater, get more bang for your buck by walking over to the large beer concession stand (the one on the right just past the main entrance gates). There you can get a 24 oz draft for $9.75 (at least that was the price at last night's Miranda Lambert show). A much better deal than staying in your seat and paying $9 (plus tip to beerman) for a 16 oz can.
