Oasis is a fun and unique place in Corrales. The breakfast items are super tasty, the coffee is yummy as well. I do enjoy going at night for a bit of wine and dinner. Paul the owner, always changes the wine list, fun dinner specials and brings in different theme nights. I actually like the garden theme in the restaurant, it's something different that hasn't been done. Stop by next time you are in Corrales.
Review Source:We had mother's day brunch at the Oasis this weekend and had a so-so experience. Â
The good:
-Strong coffee
-Friendly servers (although a bit young and frazzled)
-Smoked salmon omelet was delicious
The not-so-good:
-Overcooked homefries
-No changing tables in restrooms (it's funny how important this is if you're a parent)
-They brought out the kids' food about 20 minutes before the adults got our food
-Smallish servings
-No highchairs and only one booster seat that did not strap properly (again, a big deal to parents)
I can't say that I'll never eat here again, but It's not at the top of my list either.
Oasis, YES, FIVE star because it is as good as it gets, hosted the perfect retirement celebration for us on Monday, March 25.  Paul, the owner and chef, went beyond high standard of excellence with the delicious menu (green chili encrusted salmon, fresh fruit with chantilly cream, cheese platter with grapes, salami pillows stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños, BBQ brisket on brioche rolls, meatballs in marinara) ALL plated and served buffet style - not only was the menu exceptionally delicious, Paul  also placed vases of fresh cut flowers throughout the bistro, linen tablecloths and napkins with candles on each table.  Oasis is an upscale gem located next to the fire department in the Village of Corrales.
