O'Banion's Sports Bar

This is what I love about O'Banion's Sports Bar...

+ Great Service.  The bartenders are always friendly.  The glass never sits empty.  They are fun, nice people and most are fairly good-looking.  I am impressed by the constant quality of the bartenders.  How do they find competent AND attractive bartenders when most places can't get half the equation!    

+ Great Prices.  Domestic beer is always cheap.  PBR on-tap rocks.  Rotating shot specials too.  For craft beer drinkers they have 3-4 options, Sam Adams, Lucky Bucket, Fat Tire... beers of that class.

+ Sports on TV.

+ Jukebox

+ No stupid, gimmicky DJs or karaoke!  

+ Killer St. Patrick's Day party.

There is nothing I dislike about O'Banion's Sports Bar but the only "cons" I can think of are...

- Don 't take credit cards.  They do have an ATM but it is broken, you are S.O.L. (which has happened before).

- No kitchen

We've been regulars of O'Banion's since moving into the neighborhood.  I'd call this my local watering hole.

To be honest there is really nothing that fancy about O'banion's Sports Bar. But the people who work there and the service makes it worth going back again.

It's your typical sports bar consisting of T.Vs dart board. The drinks are super affordable like $2.50and 3 shots. I'm not talking about straight shooters, but fancy ones like chocolate cake, chocolate pretzels and the oh so delicious buttery nipples... yum! Don't expect top shelf it's more of mid to bottom shelf liquors.

The beer is pretty decent price with at least 6 or 7 on draft. I am not a beer drinker so I couldn't really tell you. What I like most about O'Bs. Is that you are Cheers

So, why are you a fan... Annie. Well, it's the people. They are almost like characters straight out of  Billy Joel's "Piano Man". This place is perfect for large or small groups. You will be welcomed in. If you want to have an intellectual conversation on current events and politics or just be silly and random. This place is for you.
