    I love a ginmill.

Went here for a date with the spouse when we were home visiting family and could foist the offspring on some relatives for an evening.

It's small, has a few tables inside, and a nice looking patio. We opted to sit at the bar. Bartender was nice, generous with the gin in my martini, and kept the drinks coming.

The menu is decent--had some steak and some pasta offerings the night we were in. But, then I saw the grilled bologna sandwich. Yeah, I was wearing a pretty slick dress. Yep, I was rocking a foxy pair of heels. But I could not NOT get that sandwich, no matter how ridiculous I looked eating it.

It was great--two thick slices of grilled bologna, covered in melty, gooey provolone, and lots of grilled peppers and onions. On soft white bread, of course. Came with a side of fries, and I couldn't have been a happier gal.

The spouse had the turkey club (seriously--our first date night in months & we both order sandwiches??) Great club--the turkey is hand-carved in house. The spouse was really happy with his dinner, too.

This is a really mellow neighborhood-type bar. Makes me seriously consider moving to the neighborhood.

Wife got a recommendation to check this place out. Was definitely happy with our meal here.

Atmosphere is like a cross between a pub and Italian restaurant, with some yellow walls that brighten the place up with a lively feel. We sat in the booths up front but the patio looked especially nice, not very big and was full with only tables in sun left.

For food we tried 3 things their burger for my son, a pot roast panini special for wife, and I the bleu raspberry steak.  Steak came with a soup choice, I got the french onion also a potato choice which i got the butter parsley. Fries with both other orders. I think you can judge a place by their french onion soup and this one was good. So credit there. The steak itself was only OK though, ordered because it came with bleu cheese crumbles and a raspberry brandy sauce. But the butter potatoes literally left a big pool of butter on my plate to which the steak was then in, so couldn't taste to much raspberry brandy sauce. Was only cooked OK too, would like a little more char outside and rare in middle. If you like lots of butter potatoes were good. For $13.95 I'm not really complaining about it, but was my least favorite of the three because the burger and pot roast panini were phenomenal. Burger is totally homemade style, cooked medium well to perfection with slight char on outside but still moist in center. Panini was super tasty pot roast with with the crunch of the panini adding to the whole flavor.

Other bonus was some good beer on tap (Got Brooklyn Brown for my meal). Also Service, I think there was one waitress working about 6 tables and she was on point for our whole meal. Friendly to my son, great timing seating us, getting order, asking how meal was, getting bill. Our waitress from Polish Villa II last week could learn a thing from this seasoned pro.

Would definitely check this place out.

Great restaurant.  I suggest you try one of their daily specials.  It is truly a friendly neighborhood place.

Beware! We were apparently given old menus so when the bill came we had been charged about $14 more than expected. I brought this up to the owner who simple said "Would you have still ordered what you did?" Well, actually, no I wouldn't have. When I told him I didn't appreciate being deceived he started walking away. Nice customer service! Even the waitress agreed this was terrible service. I guess he doesn't need repeat

Awesome food, beer selection and atmosphere. Fresh food and an ever changing menu. Seafood and steak dishes are excellent.  Pub food is spot on.  Quality beers for the craft beer fan. Hard to get a table on a Friday or Saturday, but it's worth the wait.  The best outdoor dining space in South Buffalo.  A gem.

A great place to go for a relaxing, casual evening.

The burgers and wings are great but don't forget to try the salads...I had one last night and was pleasantly surprised!

The only improvement that I would really make to this restaurant/bar...Guinness.
