You know, it's not often a resident of Buffalo goes to a Buffalo Wild Wings. With the plethora of great establishments to get wings in the area, Buffalo Wild Wings (which has nothing Buffalo about it) isn't usually anyone's first choice for wings, let alone dinner.
I've been to a handful of BWW locations in my day and they are always cookie cutter average. Nothing amazing or horrible about them. Just average. This location however, takes the cake for being the first one I've been to that breaks the mold of mediocrity.
But, not in a good way. Have you ever waited 30 minutes for boneless wings only to have them overcooked and undersauced? Have you ever ordered a ten dollar burger, served in a cheap plastic basket, that would have been outclassed by one from the Wendy's across the street? Have you ever had a waitress avoid your table because she knows you're unhappy with the service? I end my review with these hypothetical questions because if you answered yes to any one of them, I highly recommend the Buffalo Wild Wings on McKinely as your dinner destination.
Any place that serves under-cooked chicken gets one star in my book. Â The chicken was raw. Â Blarg. Â Our waitress's response, "I dont know how that happened the fryer has a timer". Â And that's it!? Â No refund, not even an apology. Â You can fill out a report if you want she says if you get sick.
Laughable.
That being said, its an over priced chain. Â If I could give no stars I would.
