THEIR SPECIAL DEALS ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED!!!!!!
Dishonesty should never be a restaurant's policy, unfortunately that is the case for The Office.

While the food was satisfactory, the service was beneath par and their advertised specials are nothing more than a bluff to get people in the door the first time.

I showed up with a few friends on a Monday evening, for the "2.50 All Domestic Drafts" and "Half Price Burgers" as the sign out front clearly and brightly stated. We waited 5 minutes for a waiter (who seemed quite friendly) sat us, as there was no host. Whatever, no big deal. So the waitress comes and before ordering anything I ask her about the half price burgers.

"Well actually it is $6 burgers not half price and we are out of ____ so the domestics are these two"

They are advertising all domestics and you are only offering 2 cheap domestics, despite having over ten domestic drafts: what are they thinking?
I order a burger with bacon and cheese and when i get the check I see that the price was $9.50, not the half price as the sign said or $6.00 as the waitress said.  When I asked her, she said that it only applied to plain hamburgers.  Information that could have been useful before I had ordered.

Excellent craft beer selection.  Food menu changed a while back and was iffy for a while, but lately it has been really great.  They have great happy hour specials and the bartenders are very friendly.  I would recommend sitting at the bar, which is quite big.  The rest of the restaurant is a bit dark - not really my cup of tea, but the bar is fantastic.  Its roomy and you will see many people eating dinner up there.

Good beer selection.  The wings are good and most of the food on the menu is okay.  The service on the other hand is abysmal and has been consistently so for many years.  In fact I answered "Not Sure" when it asked me if this place offers waiter service.

The Office has the best Happy Hour prices around.  Food & Drink specials are great.

Eh.... Just Okay.. Would rather go to a million and 1 places then go back here.  The Veggies & Dip are a nice little bonus but that is the only good thing about this place.  Everything is just okay.. and if i'm going to spent money on dinner it better be at least good!  Save your money and go down the road to somewhere a little better then this hole in the wall!

I have been to this location a lot - most recently my wife and I stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday.  The place was absolutely empty - there might have been about 4 other people total in the entire restaurant.  We decided to grab a table by the bar so we could watch the TV's.  The bartender also doubled as our waitress - service was excellent throughout the meal, but to be honest, it should be when the restaurant is empty.

I feel like The Office has changed their menu many times in the last few years.  Between this location, Morristown and Summit - I get to The Office at least a handful of times a year.  This location isn't as good since it is on Route 22 and not in a downtown area like Morristown or Summit.  The menu now is scaled down like crazy.  I feel like they had a burger section, some salads, sandwiches and some apps.  I went with a chicken salad and my wife had a turkey avocado wrap.  I had the chopped tostada salad and it wasn't very good - dressing didn't taste great and I just really didn't like it.  I would not order again.  My wife wasn't even huge on her wrap and it really didn't even look that good.

We didn't have any on this visit but The Office does have pretty good wings.  I think they are one of the few chain (even though this is a very small NJ chain) restaurants that do wings well.  Burgers are also hit or miss here, but they can be good.  I wouldn't look at this place as much more than a spot to stop in and grab some wings and some beers - that's about it.  On a plus side, they do have some pretty good happy hour specials.  The issue is that this particular location isn't worth going out of your way for, whereas the other locations at least have location on their side.  I am not against this place - I just don't think the food is very good.

I used to come here frequently after work with friends for drinks before going home for the evening. And, recently I went back in for lunch.

The Office Beer Bar & Grill has a great food selection and even does seasonal specials. The recent special was Cajun food for Mardi Gras, as I think back they always had similar specials for specific occasions.

The bar has an excellent beer selection and the menu will give you a small education on your favorite brews. The bar set up is convenient for the flow of people and the restaurant is clean.

I'm happy I went back to visit again, this is a great location and I miss the late work evenings here from years ago!

Me and my gang were looking for a last minute place to watch the Super Bowl game after getting shut down from several packed bars. The Office was our saving grace when we found that we were able to actually get a table of 7, which they kindly were able to put together in a moment's notice. The fare was more than enough to contain our excitement -- $5 for 10 DELISH buffalo wings, $3 drafts, and plenty of other great specials for the big night. Also, save some room in your tummy for dessert. Three words: Cookie dough skillet! Mmm. Great crowd, attentive waitstaff, awesome location, and just a fun time. Fresh brews and flat screens all around. Gotta love The Office!

Look it's not exactly exciting and the food isn't great but it's generally pretty good. The beer selection is about as good as it gets for the area.Wish they'd keep the music down .Otherwise a pleasant lunch spot.

The Office is great local place to hang out, have a few beers and watch sports.  The draft beer selection is pretty extensive with some really good regional breweries on tap.  As another reviewer mentioned, this is a local chain restaurant and the menu follows suit with your standard "chain" style offering of nachos, wings, burgers, sandwiches, pastas, etc.  That being said the food is always tasty.  The bacon cheeseburger pizza is phenomenal and their chicken fingers are great as well.  Despite their fish & chips not being the best I've ever had, it's still my favorite thing on the menu.  The place is a nice combination of family restaurant and sports bar.  The restaurant area is mainly separate from the bar, so it's a perfect place to take the family or stop by to have a few cold ones with your friends.

Solid beer selection for a reasonable price, and the clientele will give you a feel for our local personality.

New management, some changes apparent since the last time I visited in June. I'm a beer geek, and I love this place for their out-of-the-ordinary selections, and they've even revived their homebrew competition with the help of High Point Brewing Co. Now if only they'd get rid of the creepy old folks on the walls...

My wife and I have been in several times - usually for lunch.  Nice enough decor, decent service (this is not fine dining) and good food at reasonable prices.  Huge selection of beers, I need to count the taps next time.

This is just about like any other chain restaurant (although this is a "local chain") in NJ. The food is mediocre. The prices are relatively low. The portions are massive. The fountain sodas constantly refilled for no extra charge.

And I mean seriously massive. We were a party of three so we ordered the Chocolate Volcano: "Warm chocolate bundt caked filled with hot fudge, topped with whipped cream & served with ice cream." For Two. No really, the menu says this is made for two people. Try six. Try eight. (Though I think we ate at least 3/4 of it.)

I also ordered a veggie burger which turned out to be "veggie mash" on a bun. Mentioned this to the waiter (who was super nice) and the dessert was comped. So good service, bad food. Meh, indeed.
