I didn't expect to love the food as much as we did. The service was awesome and we will be back soon. Grab a seat at the bar and settle in for a night of great service, drinks and food that will surprise you.

Had a great meal, and the kids were very happy with their food. The only thing we did not like was the Shepards Pie. Nice beer selection and the waiter was very attentive.

Nice atmosphere, excellent food! I had the Shepard's pie and my wife had the corned beef and cabbage, both were delicious, even the cold left overs the next day. I'd go back and order the same again and again.

A quiet little pub with small restaurant. Maple chicken wings and mussels were excellent starters. Shepard pie, surf and turf and corned beef were pleasing to my 12 and 17 yr d kids as well as my wife and I. Finished with some surprisingly good deserts, i.e., flour less tort, pumpkin cheesecake and maple creme brûlée. Wait staff was attentive and courteous as they geared up for a big presidents week rush. Overall a very good family place.

We LOVED this place! Our server was Matt- he was prompt and friendly. There's no mistaking it, the bar area is an authentic Irish pub. Warm, cozy, jolly :), and well stocked. I wish the ambiance carried over to the rest of the restaurant! The bartender/host was super nice as well, and perhaps the manager? checked in with us as we were leaving. Great service all around.

The food was delicious. The blue cheese dressing had dill in it? It was genius on our wings. The burger was served on perfectly baked focaccia bread- another genius move- and the corned beef was as good as it comes. Seriously, the corned beef was a taste of home.

My husband and I both remarked that this was the best place we've eaten at while in Stowe.

This place surprised me.  I expected the atmosphere to be more Irish Pub, than fine dining, but the food is great!  The shepherd's pie is so good... made with lamb, as it should be.  The meat just falls right off the fork!  Love the buttermilk mashed potatoes that are piped on top.  The shrimp and grits is also a MUST HAVE!  I never had anything like it before!  This dish sends your taste buds on a roller coaster.... cheesy, spicy, creamy deliciousness!

In a pinch, this place is pretty good.  They had a nice selection of local beers, and the food was tasty, although not very memorable.  Even though I ate there only two nights ago, I had to think about what it was I got.

I would return, and it was a better choice than Kobe, and about on par with Rimrocks, however the atmosphere was more low key.

Probably wont be back. To me the food was eh, ok. We had 4 in our group and all thought the same. We had fish n chips, corn beef and cabbage amongst our meals. The fish n chips were a little soggy, certainly not the best Ive had. The corned beef n cabbage was made in a bowl with broth and hubs thought it tasted extremely salty and the dish was all potatoes and hardly no beef..He said the best part was the grain mustard The dining room is very plain, no decorations, no festive feeling etc ....You can certainly do much better in Stowe, not sure we'll be back here again until I hear of better things...We all wished we went to Pie in the Sky right next door...

This restaurant was not a planned stop but we were so happy we tried it.  Atmosphere was fine and food was a gem.  We had the Cioppino and the Grilled Bell and Evens Chicken Breast.  We practically licked the plate.  Served piping hot with such flavor we were both blown away.  Not what we were expecting and so glad we didn't keep walking and gave this place a try.  Yummy!  Would go back again and again!

Honestly, it's been a long time since I've had such a bad restaurant. The waitress seemed to be alone was extremely harried although the restaurant was pretty empty. We were seated against a wall in a room w no ventilation despite all the empty tables. She didn't tell us the specials, only told us after we asked that they were out of specific dish, there were no rolls, and it took 20 minutes to get a drink refill. The food was mediocre at best. This was especially disappointing because we have been really pleased with the area restaurants and this was the last night of our honeymoon. Not sure if it was bad management on the part of the restaurant or oversight of the individual waitress but we would have been way better off elsewhere.

Service was good. I had lamb stew (soup of the day) which was excellent, and fish and chips, which was blah. I would definitely go back because it was a pretty good looking and menu. And the lamb stew was an indication that they do know how to cook.

Went there tonight for dinner, on recomendation of local massuese.  Had a great burger!  Side of mashed potato was very good as well, andl iked both the onion soup and spinach salad.  Very good choice of beers, half the draft choices were local Vermont brews.  Our table had selections from Otter Creek,  Magic Hat, and  Rock Art.  All for very reasonable prices compared to what we had on pther nights at other local eaterys.  Most tables were occupied yet service was prompt, and our server was very knowedgeable on the brews.  Will definately return on future visits.

Had a GREAT lunch today at O'Grady's - Perfectly cooked burger and an Alchemist Heady Topper.

The owners came up and introduced themselves to me at the bar, making me feel like I'd known them for years! Such a friendly environment.

Very reasonably priced food, drink, and great atmosphere that's anything but stuck-up Stowe, O'Grady's is a must-visit.

New Year's Day dinner was way beyond our expectations.  What a great way to start 2012!  We had a large party that was easily accommodated.  Kids were happy with their special menu and had a great time amusing themselves with crayons, artwork, etc.  Very family friendly place!

Standouts on the menu were the Shepherd's pie, grilled romaine salad, Irish nachos, chicken wings, ribs, and the corn and banana bread in baskets were great starters.  Their prime rib special got a lot of rave reviews from the table and the lobster bisque was outstanding.

The owner made a special point of coming over and introducing himself to us, checking to make sure everything was satisfactory.  That was a nice touch.

Not your typical ski town restaurant, but friendly, reasonably priced and a great place to hang out after a day on the mountain.

O'Grady's is your basic Irish pub and has a large seating area in the back. We went there the day after they opened, although we sat next to table of 14 elderly people that could not stop discussing their wedding in the previous establishment 50 years ago TO THE DAY!!!11!!1!!!

Although they have basic pub fare, you can find a few seafood and Irish flourishes on the menu. I started with a crab casserole, which was crostini with a gooey bowl of cheese, cream and crab. Nice taste but way too heavy. My burger was surprisingly good - very well cooked and served on warm focaccia bread. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food.

Our waitress was very sweet but incredibly nervous and stumbling over her words. This made it a little awkward at times, but I imagine this was first week jitters. If you're looking for pub food, this seems like a solid option.
