We were visiting from out of town and met up with a local at Old Chicago. Most of the menu was pasta and pizza and given that I eat as a vegetarian 99% of the time it made my choices even more complicated LOL! I ended up getting an apple walnut salad minus the chicken of course and cheese sticks.
The salad was HUGE. I ended up only eating like half of it but it was very good and FRESH! My cheese sticks were warm and my water stayed filled.
All in all, wasn't anything I would have to come back for, but wasn't bad either. My friend was upset that they no longer have ranch fries. So, hopefully your not looking for those ;-)
The wife and I were regulars here for their happy hour specials. The beer prices were hefty ( I Â could buy a six pack and then some of whatever micro-brew they had on special after I had two beers) but the food specials I felt evened it out and made it worthwhile. Not anymore. Their current happy hour specials are around a 30-40% percent increase of what they were... 30-40 %. That is ridiculous. personal pizzas used to be 2.69 now they are 4.00. Other appetizers used to be half off now they are one or two dollars off. Their ridiculous price gouging has lost them a customer that was on their way to completing a second beer tour and I do not recommend this establishment anymore.
