First had their beer at a microbrew fest and when I found out we were going to be close to the Danville area, we made sure to stop in. Loved it!  We were big fans of the Summer IPA which was a nicely balanced-citrusy "light" IPA. It's not really a light beer, but it wasn't overly hoppy. The Rye Stout was very, very good as well. I really enjoyed my grilled ham & cheese. A simple sandwich made better with caramelized onions, bacon and a good mustard. I also liked the tortillas chips with beer-cheese dip that came as a side.  We had nice people to talk to and really enjoyed our day.  And here's an interesting note about Danville....a quarter will get you 2-hours on the parking meter!  I get a whole 10 minutes where I live, so that felt like a huge score.

Philly craft beer snob finds love in Danville.  Irish Draught and Hopsmith IPL and I have only been here 15 minutes.  

Of course you have to get the tasty warm pretzel with cheese as an appetizer to put something on your stomach before you add all the beers you want to taste.   Servers were attentive without being annoying and made suggestions and offered tastes to help you find the right brew.  The menu has many tasty options and after debating I finally decided the chilly night demanded grilled cheese...with ham and bacon...on excellent wheat bread.  Tortilla chips and more cheese as a side much preferred to the standard fries.  

It's a bit tight at both bars and I think the upcoming move to larger quarters a few doors away with be just the final touch this place needs.   I will definitely be back.....just wish it was open on Monday night (tonight) as I am stranded here in snowy Danville for another night....

Great place!  Really great beer - we shared the beer sampler and all of the beers were noteworthy.  We were not hungry enough to eat a meal, but we did have 2 soft pretzels and were sooooo good.  The bartender/server was super nice and informative about the beers.  We do not live in the area, but could see us going out of our way to make another visit.  Very well priced.
