We found this on a bike cycling trip on the Olympic Discovery Trail. This place had awesome decor and the food was very good and very reasonable. The staff was pleasant and took good care of us. It will be a stop for us on all our visits to the Olympic Peninsula I am sure! I am glad we found it!
Review Source:Do you ever wonder what a restaurant owned by an old school logger would be? If you can overlook that the staff may not be groveling at the correct level, for service ranges from poor to bad, the Old Mill seems to alway have good food. Sometimes it is imaginatively conceived, sometimes it is basic fare. It seems to be always good. The owner is almost always there, bussing tables, filling drinks, and chatting. If you want to meet him, and get an education, ask about some of the lumbering collection, or wood strewn about the property. There is heart in this place, the prices are typically high for the area, and help is the constant challenge here. But it is one of the better places on the peninsula.
