I was close to giving this place a 5, but you shall see why in a second.
They missed the mark on ONE thing, but it is a HUGE thing.
INSIDE - impressively done, and very clean
SERVICE - everyone from the host, to Manager to Waiter were very good
MENU - OG does a great job, huge selection, lots of cool stuff
PRICE - great value
FOOD - everything was good to great EXCEPT last item
Breadsticks - brought fresh
Soups - were very good, always are
Pasta - excellent as well
Calzone - was good, not amazing
Mixed Grill - this costs them two stars. Â The chicken that they used is
ghetto chicken, like rubber. Â Not inedible, but for $18 I would expect
that they can use fresh, higher quality chicken. Â Reason they get a
3 stars is that this had to be either a Corporate Sourcing decision
or one made by the store. Â In either case, I want them to understand
this KILLS all the other things you hit a home run on. Â For another 50
cents, you could improve the quality of this dish.
Sorry, those of us who eat out 50-60 times a month know poor food
and what causes it. Â Keep it up, and you will get to read more of that
on Yelp. Â And to buy ghetto chicken in chicken country, that is embarrassing.
You know, I've been here now several times for lunch. I just have to remember to ask for REAL lettuce in my salad. Great atmosphere... guess I got used to it. A little pricey for any other meal... unless it's a special occasion. REALLY REALLY miss the REAL bread they used to serve with the olive oil. I can get that at a favorite restaurant in Attleboro... or at home. 'Breadsticks'... YUK.
Review Source:This Olive Garden is not very good. Â I understand it is a chain restaurant and that the staff most likely do not cook 50% of the food that is served, and just simply heat it up. Â However tonight was beyond disgusting. Â My chicken Alfredo was so oily I had to clean it up with a napkin. Â It was not creamy and smooth, like other Olive Gardens. Â It was disgusting. Â The cheese fondue was nothing more then an oily glop of cheese. Â It was obvious it was reheated or microwaved it most certainly was NOT fresh in any manner. Â The bread sticks were cold and chewy. Â The silverware was dirty as well as one of the plates had food stuck to it.
There was two good things about the night. Â Our server was friendly and when she was not available, the other staff members offered (we did not ask them) to fill our drinks. Â That is amazing customer service, and the wait staff should be commended for working as a team to make the customers as happy as possible (it is not their fault the food was over cook microwaved dog food). Â The soup was nice, I guess you can not mess soup up so it was very good.
This is by far the worst Olive Garden I have ever had a meal at. Â I will be writing to corporate about this restaurant. Â This is the third time the food has been disgusting (I only went the last two times because I was a gust of my party). Â Avoid it at all cost and eat at another Olive Garden or Italian eatery.
