I love this place!
The food is fantastic. Standard pub fare with a "Louisiana" twist, but it's done well. The buffalo products (wings, bites, tenders) are great, with a spicy hot sauce and nicely cooked chicken. The chicken tenders are amazing. They're so crispy, thick, and juicy. Apparently hand cut and breaded on location.
Onion rings, great, Mozzarella sticks, standard food service sticks but good, Fries are amazing, depending on who your cook is, you might think they're from Five Guys.
A very pleasant surprise is the Root Beer on tap. It is some sort of specialty brand. If you like Root Beer, give it a try. Some of the servers call it Birch Beer, I'm not positive which it is, but it's still good.
This place is a junk food junkie's dream come true. Â Love love love that they have real Panzarotti's. Â Love the burgers and pretzel sandwiches. Â
Excellent bar with awesome people tending it. Â Service at the tables is always excellent. Â
Prices seem about normal for food. Â I've heard some of their beers are overpriced but I've never felt like I paid too much for anything at Gators. Â
Excellent place to watch any game!
I went there tonight with my mom..(82) my friend and her son. Â This was our first time there but definitely not our last.
Everyone was super friendly from the time we walked in.  The manager Paul was so friendly and nice even if we hated the food we probably would have come back because he was so nice....BUT the food was GREAT. Â
Living in south phila i have had many roast pork sandwiches but this one was definitely a winner.  My friend had a wrap and she said one of the best she's ever had.
The waitress was very sweet and helpful. Â
We can't wait to go back again!
With not many options close to home, I'll end up at Olliegators when in need of a lowbrow drink or a non-homecooked meal.
Appetizers are steady, as well as sandwiches. Salads leave a bit to be desired but are the only choice when aiming for low-cal. On my last visit I was impressed to see a craft beer selection, albeit short. It's been years since I've had a margarita here, but back in the day they were all my rage.
With a lack of places to go eat and drink in my area, this place has a monopoly over locals. No need for overly nice service or aesthetic changes. Over the years only a few things have been altered, like rearranging seating to create a larger bar section after the addition of a second dining room and small outdoor patio. But they don't see a need to rush the upgrades.
