Snotty female manager could care less about how this waste of space functions. She is bitchy and argumentative.

Uninspiring, over priced menu consisting of mostly frozen and store bought ingredients.

The only positives are; the cabin is adorable and the outside lawn is nice to hang with friends.

But be warned about the above referenced woman.......she will judge you by what you order and drink and she may just tell you so.

    FAIL

Head a bit further down 89 and go to Ithaca...many more choices, better food and service.

Food good; service excellent. Too many fruit flies. We asked to be moved and we were. Still had a fruit fly sharing my glass of wine. The manager was not sympathetic and offered the same excuse as the owner: "You know you are in wine country, right?" In the 15 years that we have enjoyed traveling to the Fingerlakes, we have never had to battle fruit flies. The owner's respond to our concern was not satisfactorily. We do not recommend.

This place was OK. Great setting on the lake but the food was just OK. My pizza (the cabin) was not cooked thoroughly and the crust was more like raw dough. My daughter's food was mozzarella sticks with Mac n cheese both of which we thought were too salty for everyone's taste - we all tried it and thought the same. My wife liked her burger. I liked the atmosphere. I think this would be a great drinking joint but maybe not the place for a good meal.

Bad customer service. Bartender was super rude to us and a few other patrons - one asked for the correct price and she was rash to them - they were shocked and left. She spilled a tray of lottery items on us (to include the drink menu) - No manners or small sorry,.  Lady seemed like she was on a power trip or just catering to the regulars. Then, she sold us a lottery ticket when we asked very politely, she said "we do drinks first - if i'm not busy, then i'll take your ticket" of which the lottery/quickpick was on lunch break, so we couldn't play the game.  Apparently, some of the regulars/locals were used to it and gave her a hard time back, but for newbies, we didn't appreciate it.

Avoid this place. We declined to eat after ordering drinks.

Very tasty food, but man o man did we wait a long time for the food to arrive.

Even with the long wait for lunch we still really enjoyed our meal. We were seated promptly and placed our order for drinks and sandwiches. Great location and fun menu, but they must have been short staffed in the kitchen because we waited close to an hour for some burgers. Would have appreciated a comped bread basket or something... All in all, we will go back and give Omalleys another shot. When the food arrived it was all very tasty, the staff was nice and the view is great.

Not too many restaurant options in Ovid so we came here by default.  The hostess and waitstaff kept asking us repeatedly if we were having a full meal or not.  Don't know what's up with that.  The service is a bit slow.  Had to get up to get menus and to take the credit card to get swiped.  The food was good and plentiful.  We all ate our full meals.  The wine is cheap with most glasses at $6.  There was a band playing both nights we went.  There were also red neck promoters there giving free souvenirs to anyone that attempted to go apple bopping.  Not too many volunteers for that.  Plenty of nice outdoor seating and even some lounge chairs without tables put out for the view overseeing the lake.  The lake was slightly obstructed by a white house but still a great view.  Anyhow, didn't see many other competitors in Ovid.  Cheers!

O'Malleys has been working hard at it for a number of years and they keep improving year after year.  They recently brought on a new chef, Matt, and have put out a new menu.  We kept it simple with a salad, pizza and wings, all of which were very good.  They have a new pizza recipe and the crust seemed homemade and my wife was a big fan.  Give 'em a try,  they are doing a very good job!

We sat on the front patio and despite going inside to ask for service twice it took a sympathetic waiter covering another area to come over and take care of us (after 15 minutes). The place was empty of customers but had plenty of staff inside. The sympathetic waiter was good, though.

We had the roast beef panini's with horseradish sauce and they were good, but nothing special. There are a few beers on tap - Sam Adams, Blue Moon, and the like.
