One East Main

Food was okay nothing really special.

Despite a less than favorable experience the first time we went to One East Main, we decided to bring our big group there another time hoping that we would have a better experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

The decor is simple. There a few local artifacts on the walls which are interesting. The first time we were there the restaurant was empty. The second time the restaurant was fairly busy. We found out fairly early that this place has what is probably the slowest service of any restaurant in Newaygo county. Getting coffee refills during breakfast was almost impossible. Eventually after smoke signals and a few strongly worded letters we were good to go.

The only nice thing about this place was that they had cheap pitchers of beer. Drinking away the anger created by the terrible service made the experience a little better.
