  Great little spot in Southern Modoc.  
  
  My husband and I worked in/around the area for three summers and this was a usual stopping point for us at some point during the weeks we were in the area.  The inside eating area is a little small and packs up pretty quickly but there are outside shaded eating areas as well.  The food is pretty standard burger shack fare but the people and service are spectacular.  I loved their shakes especially when fresh fruit shakes were available.  They where also quite accommodating with my food desires.  Do to the amount we ate out I tried to be a little healthier so they allowed me to get the grilled cheese sandwich lunch special and substitute a salad for the fries no extra cost.  By the third summer after almost a whole year of absents I walked in and the gal remembered me as well as what I usually ordered.  It was great.  
  
  Mr. Oney is very friendly and tries to come out and chat with folks to see where they have been or are going; most of the time it is too busy for him to do so.  They were also kind enough to fill up our water bottles, as we camped each night we came through.  Another plus was that because they had wi-fi we were able to catch up on work when in town after camping for the week.  
  
  Lovely people, lovely place, and well worth the stop

  Our family stopped here on our road trip from AZ.  Some of the best burgers we have ever had!  Great service.  Super friendly & great food.  Worth the stop.

  This place is a MUST stop. We found an ad in a local magazine advertising hand pressed burgers and we made a point to stop a few years ago. Now its an annual ritual when passing through on our way home from vacation. If you like juicy hamburgers, scrumptious onion rings, milk shakes (they were making peach shakes on Monday) this place will not disappoint. We meant to take a pic and post the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, but when it arrived, we dove in without any further thought for photos. The two juicy burger patties bulging out the sides of the bun and a couple peices of thick cut bacon, cooked to perfection distracted us. Reasonably priced and great outdoor seating. I doubt anyone could be disappointed.

  What initially got me to pull over was the bright yellow ice cream sign! I thought it would be an awesome place to get an ice cream on our long journey. What I didn't realize was just how awesome this place is! They have a real bbq pit right outside their door! The specials were Tri-tip, chicken and ribs. While we didn't get any food other than shakes, the food looked and smelled amazing.
  
  The ice cream only came in one flavor. However, they had about a dozen flavors of ice cream shakes that were just amazing. I had the Razz Ma Tazz (raspberry and pineapple) and my husband had the Black Forest (chocolate and cherry). Both were great! Our friend had the Fancy Nancy (lemonade shake) and it was good but the flavor was a little weak. Still, this place is a great stop if you're in the area.

  I LOVE THIS PLACE. Mrs. Oney  told us about all kinds of things to do on our travels. I would like to adopt her as my second mother :)  The food is fantastic!! I loved the strawberry shake and curly fries. Such a wonderful town.
