Ok, so I have to write another review for Opus... (an update wouldnt do them justice)! I attended an event catered by them yesterday...we were served a Continental Breakfast, Light Lunch with dessert and a wine reception (check the pics)...
The staff was sooooo friendly and accomodating. ..they were very personable, professional and knowledgeable about every single morsel of food and every drop of wine they served! All of their food was fresh, unique and visually appealing. Fitting with the name "Opus", the wines they offered were wonderfully paired with the pear glazed brie, multigrain crackers and black grapes...
Today for lunch, the meal and dessert were fabulous and unique...their white and milk chocolate covered and drizzled strawberries and champagne spread was very elegant and delish...
Keep up the AWESOME work!!!!
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with Opus. Â The bartender, Damion, was very attentive, friendly, and prompt. Â The food was awesome and seemed to be prepared very promptly. Â The only complaint I have is that the owner interacted with everyone in the restaurant but me and my two friends. Â I had been sitting at the bar alone for at least 45 minutes before my friends arrived and noticed how the owner was speaking to everyone else. Â I know I was there for at least 2 hours & the owner still never acknowledged me or my friends. Â I'm a big fan of customer service & feel that managers/owners should always interact with their patrons to assure that they are enjoying themselves. Â
All in all, I would visit Opus again however I would suggest that the customer service skills for everyone, including the owner, be refreshed.
