La Cave du Vin

By far my favorite place to get a few drinks in all of Coventry.

I have only lived near coventry for a few months now but I just cannot stay aware from the Cave. The Cave is nice because you can go relax with some friends, have some drinks, talk, and (if you want) enjoy a film. Most other places are way too loud! I am always in a good mood when coming or going to the cave.

Try the Bread Cheese!

Went only once so far, but loved it, as it is a refreshing alternative to the eternal good-old-boys-sports bar and I don't drink beer, and am getting a bit sick of the bailey's on the rocks instead.
Nice selection of good vines with small stuff to nibble on, not terribly expensive and casual, relaxing unpretentious atmosphere.
Very cool kids at least on that night I went. Staff also seemingly had her act together and the fact that it seemed so speak-easy-style down the basement with a totally different atmosphere downstairs than upstairs is definitely another PLUS.
Decor is great: local artists (as far as I can distinguish), but not the worst of them, so  all over you will be in good hands there.
Great for taking a date, a lover or also (so I have been told!) for picking up someone fresh and new.

I love the atmosphere here. Its very dark with candles everywhere. Nice and quiet place to mellow out. My favorite part is the windows, which are ironic since you are underground. I keep turning my head to look out the window, and see nothing but blackness. As for the wine, the menu is ever revolving with a good selection. I would come in many times and really really want to order the cheese platter with the fig and chocolate, but didn't until my last day in Cleveland. BIG MISTAKE! The cheese/cracker platter with chocolate, brie, and figs was AMAZING. I just wish my friends weren't smooching off my plate.
