Eli Fletcher has been on the scene of Ohio City for a long time. I used to love hearing him play on Monday nights at Edison's during his project with Josh called "Biscuits and Gravy". He has gone the solo route exclusively now and can be found donning a mask and cape around the W 25th area. His vocals sound reminiscent of Charles Manson folk tunes which is a good thing. Some of his songs about heartache and the human condition hit a little too close to home last night as I sipped a beer and listened on the ABC patio. Last night he remarked "People love it. If I would have started wearing this 10 years ago, it would have saved me a lot of grief." Eli Fletcher's new album drops next week. You can also follow him on Twitter @Guitarman3206.
