This place is definitely worth a curiosity stop. Melt has a long wait? Grab a drink here while you kill time! It's the perfect little hole in the wall with a very "old man bar" vibe. When we stopped in here (it was late and the place was pretty empty--I can't really speak for any earlier business or customers), the bartender was nice, but didn't smile. His demeanor was really a mirror of the environment, which was nice, but not flashy or overdone. Overall, it was just a really chilled out bar (my fiance and friends played pool while I unwound after a frazzling night at work); good for a couple of beers and the opposite of the bumping annoying club scene that so many people my age tend to flock to. It reminded me of an older relative's basement bar, complete with old booze signs and long forgotten decor that just seems to collect on the walls and in the corners. I also got a pretty welcoming vibe, as long as you don't stir up trouble or upset the zen of the place.
