  A hole in the wall restaurant for a hole in the wall town. Came here on the advice of a camping buddy with four other dining companions. Word of cheap, good Mexican food will usually get me to at least stop and look at the menu. WE paraded right in and faced the bar and pool table with a bit of shock. We were directed to a side room with a view of the state highway and menus came out shortly. One of our more intrepid members decided to practice his Spanish only to be informed that our waitress did not speak Spanish. Menu included limited veggie fare and mostly Sonoran favorites with little flair and less visual appeal. I wound up having cheese fries with guacamole only to discover that I got a green sauce with avocado flavoring instead of guacamole. My dining companions assured me that there food tasted good. The waitress doubled as the cook so service was slow. The #2 restaurant was to open soon across the street and offer burgers and sandwiches. I would return, but only if my gas meter suggested that making the next town was near impossible.
