If you want to see the worst stereotypes of both the military and small town southerners then this is the place. Â It is rife with aggressive, immature boys. Â Their bartenders are rude and incompetent...I ordered a Bloody Mary and got tequila mixed with clamato and salt on the rim! C'mon this is one of the oldest cocktails in history! Â You will have to push through the herd of sweaty douches to get to the bathroom as well. If you are a male you are likely to get in a fight leaving or at least witness one in their dark and crowded parking lots. Â If you are a female prepare to be suffocated by jackasses because you are one out of a hundred males.
I will say this again, Dear God please bring a nice establishment to this armpit of a town.
Tonight the FAT guy with a beard that they call a bar tender kicked me out of the bar by saying they were closed. Â BUT he didn't kick out the hot blond that he thought he had a chance with. Im gonna guess he is gonna claim he was protecting her. Â Truth is he invited one of his buddies to the bar to try to fuck her but i got there first so he kicked me out. Don't worry buddy i got your number and I'll be around for a while.
Review Source:I drove by Oscars for a year before I decided to stop in.  Now i'm a regular.  Oscar tries hard to give his customers what they want.  He has a large menu and doesn't mind making something off  menu.  The food is good and the beer is ice cold.  Karoke night is always good for a few laughs and what I really like is No Limit Holdem Poker 3 nights a week.  Oscars hosts the Rucker Poker League with 5 tournaments a week.  One on tuesday and two each on friday and saturday.  They usually have a full house of 50+ players.  Enterprise is only a few miles from Fort Rucker and the majority of Oscars patrons are either in the Army or civilians working for the Army.  If you have a problem with that then you should probably stay home.
Review Source:I was a little nervous to try oscars- When people talk about it, "sausage fest" usually comes up- but we gave it a go and were pleased. I thought it was a great mix of people and the ones I met were locals, some friendly, some not so much, pretty typical.
We went for Karaoke and learned a valuable lesson: Karaoke in the south is dominated by Dixie chicks and sugarland. Â I didnt know. Â I go up to sing my usuals (Al green, Dusty Springfield) and people look at me like Im crazy! Â Noted. (Although I think my Tina Turner was a hit) Also I think the Karaoke is run by Chumley from Pawn Stars. (or a guy who looks like him of course.)
Drinks were cheap IF a little weak.
We will be back, Karaoke was a good time and Im ready to give it another go!
Oscars is a popular flight school hang out. Â The type of place where everyone is constantly sized up (and down). Â But if you are looking for a night out for wings they are always crowded on Wednesday nights. Â I think they have a burger special one night too.
I tend to like places where people actually hang out, and this seems to be one of the only spots in town, hence the three stars. Â They have typical bar fare, darts and some other games. Â It looks like one of the rooms is set up for poker (?) and they have a back room with a different atmosphere from the main bar. Â Decent vibe. Good place to grab a beer.
