We came in on a cold Saturday night. Although we were the only group there, there was no place we'd rather be. The freshly brick oven baked pizza and the live performance made our night perfect - pizza was REALLY good. The staff was incredibly friendly. This restaurant has got character where it has a cool open kitchen and the multi-leveled design adds a modern vibe while all the wooden tables and chairs are a western theme. We really appreciated that they stayed late with us while we were eating.

Best pizza in town...get the barnyard! Service by Amanda was first class!

On Presidents Day weekend, this place was PACKED.  My friends couldn't get a table so, ingeniously, we all took over the entire length of the bar... perfect.  Well priced, the food is pretty crap, but it is in the middle of Killington VT, so I wasn't expecting gourmet.  This is a bar, that serves food, has pool, videogames, and a dancing area.  Great for a group of war-torn skiiers with bruised tailbones, sprained wrists and popped knees to warm up with a brew and some shots.

Pizza good. Service no good. Cannot believe they get this much for pizza up here. Really? $19.95 for 1 pie??? The wings were good. Drinks good. Guitar player/accoustic plays on Wednesday

I absolutely LOVE this place!  Whether you're in more of a mellow evening mood, or simply looking for one of THE BEST slices in VT, Outback is a sure bet.

After our third consecutive day of skiing, my friend and I decided to skip on Pickle Barrel and enjoy some acoustic live music with our pizza and obligatory VT-local brews.  We sat at the bar and were taken care of (very well, mind you) by Kate.  She was awesome and friendly, making time to strike up plenty of conversation with us in between taking orders and helping in the kitchen.

We ended up splitting a large for $20, and chose two different specialty toppings:  Popeye's Pie (spinach, mushrooms, bacon, onions, mozz, and garlic pepper oil), and the Botccha Galoo (sausage, peppers, mozz, cheddar, asiago, oregano).  Both halves were generously topped, and a sprinkling of additional cheese on top of everything helped keep the toppings at bay while we were eating.  Despite our hunger, we left with about four slices left over - these pizzas are definitely generous!

Along with the music that night, atmosphere is very laid back.  There's classic and high-top seating, but there are plenty of nooks and crannies to explore here, ranging from a billards area, a single table with a life-sized Jenga board, some video games and more.  Lights hanging from the ceiling give a festive feel to the place, without being overly bright or loud.  My favorite feature, however, is the belt conveyer that whisks clean pint glasses outside of the actual building for an ice-cold, natural chill!

Don't ski Killington (or Okemo...they have a location there too) without paying visit to Outback Pizza!

The pizza was one of the best I've ever had but the wait was crazy long, not only to get seated but to get our food as well. Ok so there were a large group of us and I understand it will take a long time to make 4 large pizzas.  We were there for hours.

Supposedly reservations were made for 7:30pm. We got there at 7:40pm but turned out not only are reservations not really taken but it was for 7:00. There was miscommunication somewhere. We missed our table and waited over an hour to be seated.

When the appetizers finally arrived that helped us with the wait of the pizza but when it arrived we were just so tired from all the waiting.  The lived band helped but we couldn't see them from where we were. Anyway,  the pepperoni pizza was very delicious. I could have had more.

This was a very lively place with giant jenga, free popcorn,  a pool table (used as a dinning table) arcade games, and live music with a dance floor. The only thing that spoiled it was the wait.

I was surprised at this place being as good as it was. It's set with a brook behind it, so when the music is low enough you can hear the running water. Always a nice touch, I love that sort of stuff it's why I get away from the city.

Service was good, pizza was good too. Not amazing, but good. The veggie pizza definitely lacked veggie coverage compared to others I've had, but it was still good pizza.

Their oven was huge and you could see the wooden logs and flames as you walk in, open kitchens are always a good thing (unless you see unsanitary practices!).

Nice little decorative touches all over the place giving it that Vermont ski lodge feel. Worth a stop I'd say!

Seriously, the BEST pizza I've ever had. I think it had a lot to do with the cheese. Definitely worth a trip when you get a chance. And don't ask for light cheese (like I always do) here, its totally worth it.

The ambience is more have a beer, walk around a little etc. Not formal  not fast foody and not apres ski.

Lots of nice VT beer as well :)

    First meal at Killington!

I'm here during a down period, skiing wise so there wasn't any kind of wait.  There was a solid beer selection, and I loved the local brew I selected.  The only thing I didn't like about my alcohol experience at Outback Pizza was that I got carded!  Darn baby face!

I split a large Vermonter BLT with one other person.  The pizza even had Vermont cheddar cheese and artichoke hearts, which was a cool touch.  Our pizza came quick since it wasn't too busy.

As a bit of a pizza connoisseur, I'm pretty useful when it comes to spotting a good pie from a bad pie.  I liked the pizza overall.  The toppings were pretty evenly distributed (except the artichokes sadly).  I wish the pizza would have been baked a little longer as I prefer it to be more well-done.  I'm sure the restaurant would oblige to such a request on a return visit.

I thought the prices were a little obscene, even for a ski town.  The large pizza was $20, and it wasn't particularly huge.  Quick service, good beer and a very attractive waitress made it better.  Recommended!

I have literally been here at least 50 times over the years with my family and have been frequenting the place for over a decade now. I've never once had a bad meal. My personal favorites are the buffalo chicken (without onions) and the BBQ pizza. The BBQ is a bit salty - I can tell since I'm always thirsty afterward - but it's worth it. The atmosphere is interesting, although the live entertainment varies enormously in quality. Karaoke nights can be laughably entertaining; one time I was there and only the same group of 3 people kept going up to sing even though they were, let's just say, not cut out for the stage.
Outback has a couple bars, multiple fireplaces, and a handful of arcade machines.
If you're not into pizza, however, this is not a good option. Aside from a few untested salads and pretzels, they don't offer many alternatives.
As long as you like brick oven fresh pizza while it snows outside, you're safe with Outback!

i dont know what the people have up here with oregeno but it has to stop. we order 4 pies here at 20bux a piece and we are told 45 minutes. hmm this is supposedly brick oven pizza and a real brick oven pie takes like 3 mins to cook. but out comes some under cooked and thick crust pizza that tastes like crap. covered with a full container of oregeno and sauce like ragu.  I know i am spoiled in the nyc metro area but come on you have this impressive brick oven that puts out shitty pizza.  save the oregeno for a fake bag of weed.

the only positive was our great waitress that helped us out. unfortunate that food was bad.  table for 7 guys was a 2ft wide log. liked the wood cabin feel like most places in vt but again cannot reiterate how crappy the pizza is.

By far my favorite pizza anywhere. You simply cannot beat the atmosphere and the stone baked pizza!
We make sure to visit Outback Pizza every visit to Killington. Make sure you visit on a night with Joey Leone playing live music, he is great.
We ordered the Botccha Galoo Pizza, and let me tell you, it was AMAZING!
The wait staff are very friendly as well.

This restaurant is a must stop in Killington!

The pizza comes out hot but only after a noticeable wait. I liked the kitchen sink but the hawaiian was meh.

Do not get the chicken nuggets nor the nachos. Biggest. Mistake. Ever. I could sue over the definition of nachos here. According to wikipedia, 'nachos' in its most primal form involves melted cheese. Their's was like a sprinkle of shredded cheese practically dehydrated onto stale chips. Toppings? NONEXISTENT.

Last but not least, their tap water tasted slimey.

You'll have slim pickings for meal choices around Killington after a day of snowboarding.  Outback Pizza got pretty solid reviews on Yelp, so we gave it a go.

Like: a spacious interior that's a cross between a wooden barn and a Christmas light exhibit.  Sounds weird, but I felt like it was Vermont-y.
    Dislike: too dim!

Like: the extensive choice in appetizers and pizzas.
Dislike: um, the taste of all of the apps we ordered.  Nachos that leave you knowing you could make nachos way better than that because for one, you would actually add more than one shred of cheese per chip, you'd serve it up with beef, and you wouldn't have run out of sour cream.  Clearly frozen chicken nuggets.  Garlic breadsticks that just seem to be skinny pizza crust rejects garnished with some flavorless spices.

Like: the generous amount of toppings on the pizza.  The Mondo Mia is pretty much everything but the kitchen sink!
Dislike: no use of tomato sauce, though you don't really notice at first because of the plentiful amount of toppings.  Party for your taste buds!

I just couldn't get over how subpar the apps were.

We only ordered a cheese pizza (as this was supposed to be a late night pit stop) when we came here, but I wanted to write a review out of fear I may never make my way back to Killington!

So back to the pizza, which was phenomenal!  Nice thin crust, crispy, great sauce, not greasy at all.  Cook was super nice, as was the bartender (both whose names escape me at the moment).  We sat at the bar, great in the fact you can watch your food being prepared (very clean!) & enjoy the oven's fire. Great cozy feel, with what could possibly be the most comfortable bar stools I've ever sat in.. and I've sat in a lot!

There's a pool table tucked around the side that is level with good sticks (appreciated by anyone whose played on a crappy table before).  The only suggestion would be a jukebox, as there was no band there that night.

I also have to mention the FREE, that's right FREE, shuttle service (tips accepted :)!  What a great idea that should be incorperated through-out more towns.  A+ for responsibility.

My only regret is that I did not order more food.  I may just have to schedual a special trip to VT.

Arrived on Friday night of MLK weekend - one of the coldest in history - and headed straight to Outback.

We found roaring fires, a live band, great pizza, cold beer, and even colder glasses - because there's a conveyor belt that takes them outside to chill them before use.

Only minor gripe - the band were SO loud you could just about speak with the person next to you, but no-one else around the table.

What's better than a pesto pizza !? oh yes- pesto pizza AND Tabu nightclub. Who thought up the idea to merge a pizza joint and a nightclub together! May I meet you sir ?

Watch out for the bartenders though, they will charge you for 5 goose and sprites, when you've only had 3. tsk tsk.... we're on a mountain lady! watch out for the snow ball in your face!

Best pizza in the area. Wood fired oven, and always made to order. I usually eat there, its got a nice relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. Gets busy at night, but I usually try to come earlier, especially since they have a half-price special for the first hour that they are open most days.
Only complaint is that their menu is really only pizza and a few salads as appetizers. I would like to have another option occasionally. Also their water, like a lot of places around here tastes weird, but thats an easy problem to solve, just get a beer instead!

Best adobe oven pizza in VT.  No Doubt!  I'm not sure they're still doing it, but it used to be 2 for 1 pizza's during happy hour.  Great deal.  Check it out.
