The Owl Bar

My wife and I recently had a date night at Sundance and started out with drinks and appetizers at the Owl Bar. It was a fairly slow night but we got a great little table in the back room next to the fireplace. The food, service and drinks were great. Then we went to the Foundry Grill for dinner and finished up watching "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" in Robert Redford's private screening room. That's how you do it!

wow, one and two star reviews?  The staff is amazing and do the best they can even if they are under staffed here and there while there are events at the resort..  One of my favorite places to play as a band (Ugly Valley Boys).  Ive been here probably once a month for the past 3 years or so..  Great place to get away, and prices aren't that expensive especially compared to other resort prices.  Redford keeps this resort small and inviting and the Owl Bar does that great!  Much respect to Brian and the whole staff up there!!  Ugly Valley Boys will keep coming as long as we are invited!!

What fun!  Adorable taproom at Sundance.  Butch Cassidy is said to have sat at the bar (before it was moved from Wyoming).

The menu selections are limited, but the cooking is top notch -- try the tacos and the Sundance label wine and beer.
