This is another greet chain sports bar known through out the Pa / NJ area. I think these guys  are lacking a few things from the others I have been too,(Glen Mills, Haddonfield and Blue Bell) which is customers. I am shocked not to have seen a much larger crowd for a sporting event I had taken in here .

These guys are known for some of the great wings they dish out , with my 2 favorite in Sweet Chili and a Sesame Garlic. One of these days I guess I'll try to break from the norm and go with the "Inferno". The burgers here aren't as tasty, or as flavorful from the other locations.  I don't know , maybe the guy had an off night, but I have had burgers from these guys. Mind you it was at the other locations I have had them where it was pretty good. (Glen Mills excluded)

A great spot for the beer aficionado ,with plenty of fine crafts waiting for you to peruse. Another reason why P.J. is good is their nice sized bar with ample seating aligning the the area ,with plenty of TVs for your viewing pleasures. Good ample seating inside and out, with a pretty descent wait staff.

These guys, or chain I should say is OK , maybe if these guys were in a different area the business would increase. I'd stop in just for a few libations, with a wing order if ever in the area.

My takeout order of wings placed last week caused me to decide that I will not be ordering from there ever again. Wings were served far from crispy, as if fried at 250 degrees for 10 minutes. The fries were also served well below standard, oily and undercooked. This place needs to hire a dedicated quality assurance person or put someone better in the kitchen. If this place continues serving food at this kind of level, they will lose more customers. If you want fresh fried hard crispy wings, go to gleasons pub.

I came here on a Friday night after I took one of those hot yoga classes for the first time (ouch).  Having gone to college in South Jersey, it was exactly how I remembered it:  loud, awful music and tons of overdressed 21 year olds.

The highlight of this place is the beer - I forget what the house lager is called, but it's pretty good (and I believe it was on special that night).  We ordered the inferno wings on the menu for the appetizer and while overpriced, they were pretty good.  Definitely not as hot as I was expecting (I didn't even break into a sweat), but still good.  For dinner, I ordered the turkey burger and my boyfriend got the bacon bleu burger.  The turkey burger was one of the tasteless things I've ever eaten; my boyfriend said his burger was "eh."  But we both agreed that the famous fries were really good.

Big shout out to our waitress!  I wish I could remember her name, she was really awesome.

I definitely wouldn't come out of my way to come back to PJ Whelihan's - there's just nothing special about it.  They should take some notes from their sister restaurant, The Pour House, because that place is awesome!
