Pajaro Street Grill

Good but inconsistent was my observation as a first time visitor. Five us dined here--an early dinner. Service was friendly and personable, but it could have been better had the whole enterprise not been a one-man show (or so it seemed). My Gf & I both started out with a mug of the vegan black bean soup, served with a small crostini and dollop of very tasty pesto. The soup was very flavorful, though a bit on the tepid side temperature-wise.  My crab fritters were disappointing. Too doughy, and not a lot of obvious crab. Our Caesar salads with anchovies were very good. Our compadres had a cheeseburger with fries, "bronzed" salmon, and cheese ravioli--all were deemed very good. Three of us got the house-made four berry pie for dessert. Very tasty, though more like a tart in thickness and appearance.

Cool art, warm, homey feel to the place.

This place is so interesting. It needs a woman's or gay man's touch.  It just seems trapped in the past.  The food can be outstanding, but the creatvie drinks and enviroment can kill the mood. The staff and owner are very friendly and seem to care about your needs, but place needs a face-life.

Came for the belly dancing show, will return for the food!
