This place does one thing really well: decor. Â The dining room and bar are really cool looking. Â It has a sleek, modern look that would be a good example of how to style a bar/restaurant. Â
Unfortunately, the service and food do not measure up to the atmosphere. Â Especially the service. Â I've been there probably two dozen times or more, and at different times of day (and with one or two exceptions) the bar/wait staff do not exhibit ANY urgency or desire to serve the customers. Â They sit at the bar, gab and chat with other customers or each other while glasses sit empty. Â We once sat at the bar for 15 minutes with no menus and watched the bartender waltz outside to talk with someone, leaving the bar totally unattended. Â On another occasion, our waitress evidently went off duty without telling us and we sat and sat waiting for our bill. Â We finally went to her as she sat at the bar having a drink and asked for our bill. Â She told us she was 'off duty.' Â Uh, ok . . . Â They're nice people, but there is no leadership or sense of professionalism.
The food is ok. Â It was better when they first opened. Â The burger is pretty good, and we've gotten some good specials there. Â It's inconsistent, though. Â We continue to go there because it's convenient for a few drinks or a low-key lunch. Â But, the service needs improving if they want to remain busy.
I had been in here for a beer previously but last night was the first time I went to eat and have to say I was impressed. Â Great Specials. Â I had the wing special, which was there twice fried wings in a garlic sauce. Â They were a great start. Â Also had the homemade turkey burger which I had read about on Yelp. Â Had a bit too much onion, but compared to the regular drab turkey burger you get everywhere else it was great. Good beer selection. Â I had a stout, that was very drinkable. Â Great atmosphere, and food. Â Will definitely be back.
